Road Race

i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/SeptemberManGame2010/ProfileAmerica.png
The South American riders are not exactly punchers, so this long hilly circuit will surely be very open.

Manarelli, Tanaka, R.Richeze, César Rojas Villegas and Médici make the break in this long day.
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/SeptemberManGame2010/PCM0001-6.jpg

One of them will win this race as their gap to the peloton is 15 minutes with 50km to the end. With this, C. Rojas Villegas will surely be the Costa Rica champion, but the other four will have to battle to win their national championships (Brazilian and Argentinian).
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/SeptemberManGame2010/PCM0002-6.jpg

20km to go and C. Rojas Villegas was dropped. There were no attacks so far in the leading group.
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/SeptemberManGame2010/PCM0003-6.jpg

5km to the line and Manarelli, the best sprinter in the group, is leading.
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/SeptemberManGame2010/PCM0004-6.jpg

And he is leading over the line, victory for Manarelli! He is the new Brazilian champion. Roberto Richeze gets the second place and, with it, the Argentinian champioship. Will he get a team for the next season? Médici closes the podium and Tanaka closes the group.

César Rojas Villegas comes after this group but as the better Costa Rican, he is the new champion of that country.
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/SeptemberManGame2010/PCM0006-6.jpg

Horacio Gallardo comes in the pack, but he is the first Bolivian at the finish, meaning that this free agent is the new Bolivian champion.

Raabe is an early starter and possibly a contender to be the TT champion of Costa Rica.
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/PCM0007-4.jpg

That was a silly thought. Andrei Amador comes and smashes Raabe's time by 1'30''. He is the new Costa Rican TT champion.
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/PCM0014-2.jpg

Montaño is not a good TT'er. Still, he is the best of his country, Bolivia.
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/PCM0013-2.jpg

Four riders are good enough to fight for the title of ITT champion of Argentina. One of them is Médici, 1'14'' worse than Amador.
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/PCM0008-4.jpg

Dotti is 14 seconds faster than Médici.
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/PCM0011-2.jpg

Brizuela comes shortly after and beats Dotti by 6 seconds.
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/PCM0012-2.jpg

But Moyano wins the title, beating Brizuela by 23 seconds but still losing 42 seconds to Amador.
i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/untal16/PCM0016-2.jpg

Amador doesn't win the race, though. Nicácio smashes his time by 55 seconds and is the new Brazilian TT champion, beating the second Brazilian, Luis Tavares, a free agent, by 1'49''.
