A short and some what bumpy opening stage. Lemoine, Jamieson, Drapac, Nordhaug, Arvesen, Day, Giancecchi, Lindgren and Butterfield briefly get away, but dont last long

8km to go, a small split is appearing in the peloton!
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour2.jpg

This could be very important - IKEA's 3 leaders, Alarcon, Taaramae and Larsson, are all in this 2nd group
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour3.jpg

The gap isnt closing either, as we approach the sprint
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour4.jpg

Taaramae only needs around a Top 5 in GC to take the Individual Rankings title, but he cant really afford to lose time on a flat stage
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour5.jpg

Not all IKEA riders are in that 2nd group tho, Thomas Kvist leads off the sprint
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour6.jpg

Miyazawa closes on him
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour7.jpg

The Japanese rider takes the lead, but Giaux is also close
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour8.jpg

And now on a charge from a long way back is Docker
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour9.jpg

Oddly. Miyazawa, Giaux and Kvist all stop sprinting, opening it up for Docker and Eisel
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour10.jpg

Eisel has the faster outside line round the final turn
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour11.jpg

Bernhard Eisel wins the stage! Docker is 2nd ahead of Giaux and Miyazawa
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour12.jpg

Odebrecht it the last of Group 1 to finish - where is the Taaramae group?
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour13.jpg

Awang crosses solo, just over a minute down on the first group, having also been dropped late on
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/suntour14.jpg

Larsson leads in the 2nd group, to give them the same time as Awang - but they have lost time
