Game crashes

PCm crashes before i have entered the main menu in the game. Im using the newest Pcm daily patch. tried restart and everything, but nothing seems to work.

EDIT
This is the Error is:
Pcm has stopped working

Did you also delete the other PCM folders when you reinstalled?

Specifically the one in My Documents is important to delete.

No i dont think so. I can reinstall it now, but is there any way I can save my saved games ?

If it crashes, it sounds like you have a corrupted save game. In My Docs/PCM/Database/Solo/Name of DB/, you can find your save games. You can try to delete the files ending with .cdb and rename the ones ending with a ~ (just remove the ~). If you still can't start the game, remove the save games one by one until the game works.

The file was corrupted "/ but thanks for your help Smile
What can i do to prevent this in the future ?
