New Multiplayer Stages?

Hiya

A friend and I have been planning to make a small season mode of our, including 10 races, in 3 different categories - A, B & C which gives a different amount of Points.

We are to build a team of 15 Riders and have to manage the salaries and training.

For the first season we have planned to race in the Tour de France and Giro D'Italia and 8 other races. (We just run it as "Single Stage Race" and "Single Classic" via LAN)

Now the big question is: Is it possible to run other editions of Tour de France and The Giro?
I have downloaded the "Long Play DB", but can not run the stages when I only do a single race. They only seem to work in the season mode.

How can I get acces to the different editions of Tour de France in the "Single Stage Race" selection screen?

It's not a simple procedure - but let me get back to you later today. I'm currently at work and don't have the needed tools to check out exactly what to do.

Oh, I forgot.

The question is solely about how to load new/custom made stages in multiplayer mode.

The team management bit is taken care of. (I loooove Excel)

The easiest way to use variants in single race mode would probably be to start a career and load the save game into Full Editor / Advanced Editor v4.

Now, in DYN_variant_stage of the save game, you can find all the details of the variants. Many of these can be copied straight from the save game table to the STA_stage table of your DB - and that's pretty much what you need to do.

If you have no editing experience, it may be a bit difficult, but it's worth a try.

Just a quick new question.

I have now mapped and created quite a few stages. Making a Tour of Germany with 21 stages.

How do I add cities to the route?
From the manual I should be able to add it to a waypoint, but I can not find out how in the official stage editor.

Have a ITT in Hamburg, so would be nice with suroundings that fit the city. :-)
