I'm always sceptical of these ads, since they tend to always turn out to be CGI made (like the one of Ronaldinho hitting the bar a few times in a row)

Apparently some misguided soul decided to publish the book "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies".
It was a hit.
So, I give you the sequel.....

It was also hilarious, but I have my doubts about the second, I don't think it'll be as good. |

One of the political parties in Denmark wants to forbid paintings of children involved in sexual relations.
A museum will now show some of the paintings (manga or whatever Waghlon calls it), so the headline is obviously: "Child-porn on exhibition in Odense [the city]" |

Mom: I cant download DRM files for my WMA files in Windows Media Player. Help me.
Waghlon: Okay, you open up those WMA files in WinAmp, which i know you have installed, and it gets the DRM files for those tracks quickly. Then you can open the files perfectly fine in Media Player
Mom: You're not helping. How do i get Windows Media Player to download the DRM?
Waghlon: *repeats what i've just said*
Mom: If you aren't going to help, just get out of my hair already.
Mom is now trying to install anti-virus for some reason. Fuck my life.

Parents. They're always like that.
Reminds me of my dad a few years ago.
Him: How do I get rid of the torrent without deleting the local files after it's done downloading?
Me: Right Click Torrent -> "Remove And" -> "delete torrent+data"
Him: Thanks!

Same on my end, but it's a little worse for me, considering I have to help a father of mine with a degree in Computer Science. |

That must've been some college he went to
In all seriousness, mine's an engineer who's even a bit of an expert on AutoCAD.....he just doesn't want to learn anything new that doesn't directly relate to his work because it's easier to just call me at random hours to ask questions over the phone

I try to stay out of computer discussions with my dad. He actually was one of the first to switch to computers for doing his work billions of years ago.
But that's the point, he is still stuck at the same level. He knows how everything works but is so stubborn when problems arise.
I tell him how to fix it, and he decides to do something else. and when I tell him something is bad and he shouldn't use it. He goes ahead and uses it.
:x
Meanwhile he is wondering why my pc is still as fast as when i bought it and why his laptop is slow.
Yeah dad. I have no clue, maybe you should listen to me, the guy actually studying for this shit?? |
