Holland play a Counter attacking system. Its not how you dominate a team like Australia. I would hope they make adjustments at HT and should take this game in the 2nd half.

Pretty sure Van Gaal will find the right strategy in half-time and Netherlands will turn up considerably the pace. Cahill's goal was fantastic. Also nice dribbling of Robben from far-out, but he needs more balls from midfield and defense. Somehow Australia got NL cornered in.

The penalty is harsch, not wrong, but harsch. The arm is out there but they are so close to each other that he can't really avoid it. Tough decision for the ref where its not wrong to give it or to not give it imo =P |

The rule don't really work like that, it's a very unclear rules with intent, natural/unnatural position, ball search the hand or not and other stupid shit like that. They really should clarify the rule so it's not even debatable. I want to clarify that i'm not saying it was the wrong call.
