It's weird, since the verb "verser" appeared twice, which made no sense at all, until I realised it's the translation of "pour", which is a verb in English, but also exists in French as a pre-position (I think it's one ?) to express a goal or a purpose (it's equal to "to" or "for" ).
Oh, I also enjoyed abusing my ip-checking powers when I had some.

It depends who is invited to the party. |

Well, after being hit last year (11 months ago) by a car whilst out riding, I can now successfully say I have received my compensation. £3,453.09 for the pleasure. I'm rich. Finally.

Yes, but I bet you'd rather have not been hit by a car? |

Where have you guys been on vacation this summer?
You must mean where were going on holiday, buddy..? Visit the UK by car in a couple of weeks. Just need to drink a plethora of pints of ale and take pics of big cities, and have some tetley tea at times. Once I'd've done this, Id get back!
Here in Norway we have vacation in June(end of the month), July(Whole month) and August(start of the month).
Quite short! In France if youre at Uni, its from the end of May till the middle of September.

The problem with this discussion is that whatsup is talking about University, and jph is talking about School - they cant really be compared

As SN just said, this is at school, so weve got the same hours or so here, too
EDIT: so at school we got two months off, July and August

Got back from Portugal earlier today. Nice country, not as warm as Turkey, but warm enough -- and way more "civilized". |

My Uncle got stuck in Turkey, which was funny.
Mind you, I got involved in a car accident in Portugal, which wasn't.

we must be careful what we say about Pass. We don't want to wake up any angry Portugalians.

Especially in this topic *points to title*
I went across the border to pass once. I saw a turkey.
