oops I will edit that right away. And I don't think it's normal to edit Kirchen stats in the middle of the season. I will do that at the end of this season, I think it's more realistic

NO, I want you to edit his stats right away
too bad
EDIT : for the realism, i'd say that if kirchen TT stats are so bad, it'll look unrealistic but do what you want, and once again very very very very very very very good luck for TdF (ouffff!! , one "very" for each future TdF stage win)

Le Tour de France Stage 1

No distinctive jerseys today except the national champions, the Pro Tour leader and the World Champion. They were the biggest attraction at the start of the race

Now, let's take a look at the real race. Lovkvist goes with the escpaes and wins the first climb points of this year's Tour

He is first in the second climb too. Tomorrow he will be in Polka Dot.

Knowing that, he let the pack catch him.

No one from the breakaway could resist today's speed of the pack. Vaugrenard, the last one, is caught with 35 km to go.

Gerdemann tries to place Kirchen in a perfect position.

Gerdemann's job ends. Now it all depends of Kirchen

Right after that the pack caught Gerdemann

Kirchen is in front, but not with too much

Yes, Boonen leads very well the sprint in the pack. Probably for Bettini

But Kirchen is a very good puncheur and a nice sprinter too.

The last corner...

And he does it. Kirchen wins the first stage of the Tour

The last kilometres split the pack into 2 groups. In the second group, 1'50 behind Kirchen, were a lot of big names: Di Luca, Contador, Kloden, Lovkvist, Devolder, Chavanel, Gesink, Dekker, Piepoli, Sastre, F.Schleck, A.Schleck, Pereiro, Karpets, Moreau.

Le Tour De France Stage 2

The breakaway

Perez got the most mountain points and he will wear tomorrow the polka dot jersey

This is not a stage for Cavendish

A lot of Silence Lotto riders are down. Cadel Evans is there.

OMG! Ciolek falls too

An another big name. Leipheimer.

The Silence riders are ok, they will help Evans to get the same time with the rest of the pack. Leipheimer finished in the same group with them.

Now return at the sprint...
An unussual train for us.

And sudenly Eisel lost Kirchen's wheel

Kirchen is now our main sprinter?!

But Haussler and Benatti are much faster than him.
It will be a very close finish.

But the winer is Haussler, the new TDF leader

Kirchen will keep only the points jersey

First abandon of the Tour: Koldo Fernandez
