I liked the part where Belgian commentary mentioned that losing 7kg apparently makes your time-trial even better.

Really that should be possible. Hesjedal won the Giro right? Then if ... Beppu beats Hesjedal...it should be possible! So Beppu for Giro 2013!!! |

No! That can't happen. If Beppu wins the Giro next year then he will become more popular than Arashiro and no one wants that to happen. NO ONE!

not saying anything, but didn't Landis look "fresh" after stage 17 in the 06 Tour?
I think that subject has already been talked a lot. Everyone said what they think and there's no need to comeback to that conversation.
With every ridiculous performance, this topic will rise again, because winning PN-Romandie-Dauphine-Tour-Olympics TT is something that even Eddy Mercky full of amphetamins and steroids would not had achieve.

Exactly. The Japanese need to start a new "scientific" team à la Sky. Imagine a super duper mountain train with Arashiro and Beppu as his super dom drilling the mountains. They just need a swimming coach (I suggest the Chinese, looks really good).

Time trialist and attacking rider........ Does that combination exist?? Thought these guys are known for riding for a long time at a high pace.
Anyway, Wiggins deserved the win, best timetrialist at the moment. But I'm curious what would have happened if Martin and Cancellara weren't injured or had crashed.... BUt that's a part of sporting.

Based solely on times (no Cx involved, or ability to take corners well considered, etc.), if Martin had managed 410 W, then it means Wiggins has done 421.
That's more or less the same difference as the one between Froome/Wiggins and Van Den Broeck in the TDF mountains this year. |

But the question was timetrialist/attacker. Well, then you have AC.
