All this is to me is an excuse for why Google is acting like a rebellious teenager and screwing with their customers all the time.

Chrome has come with a new design or whatever that just sucks so much Specially worst are the recently closed tabs, not only reaching them is less practical but also you only see half their names. For PCMDaily threads I only see "PCM.daily - Discussion Forum: P...", "PCM.daily - Discussion Forum: T..." and so on.

That's what I don't like about Google. They make good things, then make useless updates that just screw up the product, and never listen to user feedback, even when it is immense backlash. They just put bots on the forums saying that they are glad everyone likes it.

Also, the new interface when you are trying to type an address looks so bad...
And I can't even find a way to change the size of the web content cache...

Exactly why I don't like Google. Yet you all still use their products. Only one I use is Youtube. And GFail, because when I wanted to switch I had already signed up for everything on the Google account.

I think I have the updated Chrome, but I dont really know, since it doesn't seem much different at all. I see the recently closed tabs thing, but I personally like it, and nothing else seems different at all, so I guess I like it. I dont really care about the recently closed tabs thing, since I've got all sites I regularly visit in my bookmarks bar anyway.
And about One Direction, I dont understand why people hate them so much. They are a typical Boy Band, that were put together by "experts" and as far as I know, dont write their own songs. No one has to like their music, I personally dont, but there are far worse artists.

Nobody said that they weren't that bad. Here's the problem: to give an exemple, last week, on twitter, a girl made a threat to them. If the didn't followed her, she would kill her dog. A few moments later, she twitted to them to follow her since her dog died. Basically, girls will do everything, and I do mean, everything to them. If they split up, they will probably kill herselves.
EDIT: And to give another example: an acqueittance of mine just wrote that she spend 15 hours, sleeping in a parking lot to get a fuckin' ticket wich costed, well if it was the cheapest, 60€.

One Direction. Frankly i've heard a lot worse music. If you heard one of their songs without knowing it was them the thoughts would be "It's alright. Not great but i wouldn't change radio station to find or avoid it."
They have thousands of screaming female fans and are disliked by a certain type of person, just like an awful lot of bands did in the past (The Beatles and The Who come to mind!)
If you don't like them fine, but at least do it for the right reasons, not because it's "cool".
In other music news, Wheatus are playing at my Uni next week. *girlie squeal*. F*ck Yes!!! It's going to be an amazing night.

Right. Well I personally separate fans from actual stars/bands etc. The fact the fans are that idiotic isn't directly their fault.

Not being funny but people have always done that sort of stuff for Bands and Celebs...
People would queue for DAYS just to see The Beatles or The Who or Queen. Just see them. Not a concert, just to see them.
People queue for DAYS to get iPhones, games.
People queue for DAYS to see a movie.
In comparison, 1D are cheap and easy to access. The fact some fans go OTT is not limited to 1D either. Similar stories have been linked way way back, the issue now is Twitter, FB etc. giving those sorts of people an easy instant access, public, platform where they can show off their devotion.
It's like fighting for a shirt that has been thrown into the stands at a sports event. It becomes a status icon, and is hardly 1D's fault.

What annoys me about boy bands is that it isn't a band. It's just 5 autotuned guys that don't even know each other that have songs pop out of Simon Cowels ass for them.
And TMM, there is nothing but having millions of screaming girls after them that can compare to the Beatles. They are not alike at all. I recently did a poll to see how many people still remember the members of Nsync. Out of 20 people, 6 knew Justin Timberlake and only 1 knew another 1. People won't care in a few years. But 40 years ater people stillc are about the Beatles and The Who.

They wrote their own songs, sang them without autotune (not like they could), played their own instruments, founded themselves, and were actually a band that built up themselves.
One Direction does not compare. If anybody from that era they are more like the Monkees.

@BB
My point wasn't about lasting or music, it was about fans and their actions. How fans actions are not limited to 1D or caused by 1D. That cannot be argued against, because it is fact.
And NSYNC were awesome
