The organiser of the Giro today announced that the 108 will never be used any more in the Tour of Italy. Wouter Weylandt was wearing this number when he made his fatal crash.

It's typical Wiggins to take it very easy if he thinks he has been held up by a crash of some sort. Seems it came back to bite him today - quite careless of him.

I believe the official explanation is "business decision". I guess they want to promote Eurosport 2 and eurosport player.
Luckily I do have Eurosport 2, though I struggle with the signal on the HD version of the channel, so I'm stuck with SD on the weekday stages. Could be worse I guess.

Just came home and watched the last km's. Didn't even see Wiggins, i had to go here to see that he lost time!!
