Nice to see Misbah looking good and picking up some bonus seconds on the stage.
Jumping up 2 spots into the top 5 GC is good for him knowing that he's still got a TT to come.

Best way to defend the KOM jersey is to get another guy to the top of the rankings as well Great ride Boily today kept himself nicely in the 2nd group as well to keep our small lead in the teams competition.
Happy to get back to some Houle stages now and hopefully keep our guys really good GC positions for a couple of stages before the first really big mountain stage

Can’t be unhappy with Soulious here, but Giannoutsos really doesn’t want to win this race.

Lost a bit of time but still alright. Top 10 finish is the goal for sure. Rodriguez dropped a spot in the U25 but not by much so definitely still possible to win or get a podium for the U25. Good to see Karatsivis in the break and getting KOM points. Would be good to see him go after that!
Congrats to the winner and great report

That was nicely navigated, no ridiculous large break, Not great to let Misbah get bonus seconds but hopefully 4 seconds isn't decisive. Back to Haller tomorrow, we luckily held a 1 point lead over Houle for days, fear tomorrow that will end if Haller does the fade.

Edmondson keeps trying. He’s not better than where He ends up, but as Long as He tries he might get a stage podium at some point. Solid stuff.

Haller didn't want to end up with an unlucky 13 ToA stage wins.
Thanks to KB for doing all the reporting.

Houle just having a great ride every day here clearly paying from trying to catch everything himself (erm PCM we have 5 other riders in the group for this you don't even have to use a GC rider Mccormick and Vacek are right there) but apart from PCM bugs another very strong day scoring a few more points and you can never complain at that! |

Close but no cigar for Soulious for the 3rd time in 10 stages. Still another very strong performance from him. Easily the best performing rider from us by now. Christakos actually in 2nd place due to him leading the U25

Little too hard for Haller, not surprising, nice to see Hecht get involved. Congrats to Wouters he gets a nice reward for being a little stronger. Big stage tomorrow.

No lost time for our leaders. Good to see Karatsivis in the break contesting the KOM. We might be able to contest for that throughout the race which will be nice!
Congrats to the winner and thanks for the report!

Well that was an awful stage. Everything indicates a crapper of a race. Even Christakos threw away the U25 lead.
If Giannoutsos isn’t the best on stages like this we should rethink the strategy and send Mavrikakis out for the breakaways instead.
Congrats - again - UU! What a race you are having.

Sosa is going to be a tough guy to crack with yellow on his back. What a stage from him. Elosegui with a solid effort to move up to 2nd in GC. Still very much in this with the two TTs and even harder, longer mountain stages to come. Plus, the support he has been getting from Pronskiy and Quinn has been top notch. You got to think Sosa's teammates are going to struggling in the final week trying to protect both the yellow and green jersey. But we shall see.

Shame Mushin couldn't turn the home road advantage into a stage win but it probably would have required going too deep into the red to recover for later in the race.
He's still putting up a very solid ride overall, limiting his losses well and with the TT's still to come he's just about staying within touching distance of a GC podium which is beyond my expectations going into this.

As expected was started to lose our High GC positions in the real mountains here but we've manged to keep everyone in the top 30 with Stroll now into the top 50 our real battle now is Houle sprint stages and continuing to get into the breakaways as we have been doing fantastically so far to keep racking up some stage points |
