The last of the races for the 2023 season was raced some time back and now the final points update for season is posted. Congratulations to those who did really well and to everyone in general for sticking through another season of RTG.
As everyone would have noticed, the game has slowed down a lot recently, and the regular updates from the past is not something that happens anymore. Commitments at work and home have been taking away more time from me recently, and PCM time has reduced to almost zero. So, as much as I don't want to stop, I find it really hard to see how I can keep going with the game at any suitable pace, let alone at the pace I had earlier. While I don't want to completely say this is the end, but for now I have to put a pause to the game at least, and hope I can find time again in the future to get this going again.
Would like to really thank those who stuck with the game for multiple years despite the riders seeing next to no success in the initial years. I understood the frustration and tried to make things more interesting but some stuff never really worked out the way I hoped.
All things considered, it was a fun ride for me so far. Hope everyone playing also felt the same

Thanks for running this Abhi! I will admit it was a slower burn than I hoped for Bobson, I think just because the game launched at a time when U23 megatalents came to dominate cycling, and thus the U25 races lost a bit of their possibilities. But it was a really cool idea and I'm thankful for your continuous updates!

Campeon will retire not having done a lot of special things, but in general it was nice to see him get better slowly. Of course I also didn't choose the most exciting path for him with time trialing.
I think you did a great job to make the riders more competitive in the final seasons, and there definitely were many reasons to cheer for some of them who had been longer in the game already. It's amazing that you ran this game all on your own for several years, and I'm glad I've been a part of it. The only thing I'm sorry about is not having discovered it earlier.
Best of luck with your commitments at work and at home, and I'm sure we'll cross paths again in MG and other places on the forum Thank you for this amazing journey!

Thanks for the ride. If you ever consider restarting, then maybe it could be possible to create an older rider, which is more competitive right away, but might not have as big a potential |

Sorry to hear we are going on pause but thanks for running it as long as you did. Was always nice to have as steady stream of RTG updates to check in on.
McRettin will be spending a lot of time in the wind tunnel in case the opportunity comes for him to ride again.

As others have said I'll be sorry to see the game on a break but sounds like it's absolutely the right move for you at the moment Abhi

Thank you for running the game! Alunderis certainly finished on a high note. I'd surely be back if RTG returns.
