I did notice the french billboard, but I couldn't make out what it said other then the fact that it was written in french. I even sent the picture to a friend, hoping he could make the text a bit clearer. I must admit, I thought Ontario was a part of the french speaking Canada. I started my google street view ride in the east and travelled west. Found a pretty similar place in Ontario and just went with a nearby place.
Well, first time out of the top five, hopefully the last time. Congrats to everyone who beat me, next round I'll be in the top three.
Great season so far, Brewers! Keep them coming! |

Initially, I actually was thinking border as I saw a Canadian flag in the distance. Should have stuck with my instincts. Then I saw the sign, and it confirmed Canada. The sign ruled out Ontario because the black part was not a part of the actual sign. I spent a few moments looking at the sign on the left and tried making out what it said, did some research, nothing.
Tried looking at the railroad paths in Canada. Had to decide if I was going to go West or East. Decided to try in the middle and hope I was close. The border is also to big to be bothered searching that much. I just want to beat lakebeach, and I will be ready for the next round.
Props to MARS, taking the HoH and winning this round, proving to be a force at this game, and the game section in general.

Considering this one wasn't a 'sure thing', pretty funny to see Matt and I separated by just the 1 KM! |

The game continues as does the drinking. But where is Brewer having his latest hangover?
Let's try and get this one in by Saturday evening shall we. This one should be a lot easier than the last one so I don't think you need 100 hours. Remember, if you want the 200 points, you need to be precise. I'm not going to accept you just giving the name of a city this time.

Well, I just went with my first idea and then just choose randomly a street in the area where I think it can be. I'm prepared to be 15th although just being 10km away this time. |

This was an interesting challenge firmly split between people who knew exactly where it was straight away and people who had no idea so stuck it anywhere, There were three huge clues here that should have made it relatively simple, although it's only easy if you know it of course. Firstly, the English, London-style 'look left/right' on the road crossing should have ruled out all non-English speaking countries. The British traffic lights and road markings narrow it down further and the fact that they drive on the right mean it can literally only be one tiny place in the entire world. Did the 13 entrants work that out?

Tellingly, the first six people, who all replied very quickly, answered the same, while the other seven took longer and were spread out all over the world. From some of the world's biggest cities to the small town of Dumfries near the Scottish border, there were some real stabs in the dark here. By now, I'm sure you all know the answer but here it is anyway.
Sure enough, as the first six guys knew, this was the only British territory that drives on the right, Gibraltar. Specifically, the Devil's Tower Road in the north of the tiny peninsula. Those that didn't get this now have a lot of work to get back in to contention for the win. First, let's see how far away the others were.

As wrong answers go, Luxemburger's was not bad at all, being just 500 kilometres away in Madrid. jseadog1 (really struggling to keep up with lakebeach now) and matt17br were at least in Europe, so don't finish too far down. The Rider, at nearly 11000 kilometres away, is the last placed finisher here. The top two both get 200 points to increase their gap to third place, with Marcovdw, afirm, lakebeach and Waghlon all getting it bang on to keep the pressure on Marsu and Bjartne.
After what could be a hugely decisive round come the end of the game, let's see the new standings.

The top two smash through the 500 points barrier already. Third to sixth are very close, with Waghlon's average distance being helped hugely by not taking part in the tricky first round. matt17br is the best of the rest but all the way down to 12th placed PeterRyder, it's very close. Luxemburger moves off the bottom after jihardy sent no answer.

The real trick was googling the dealership. Only one company in the world has such a combo of brands. Originally I was actually in Puerto Rico.

Boy I had a remote wild idea that could be Gibraltar but it slipped out of my mind when I had time to look in the few streets that make it up... Duh.
EDIT: I swear I googled suzuki peugeot honda etc. multiple times. No decent results... ffs.

For fuck's sake, googling "kia suzuki honda peugeot toyota gibraltar" actually shows the correct place. Meh it was a fucking 3 minutes guessing work, I did it with all UK countries, didn't even think about doing that for Isle of Man and Gibraltar.
