They do stat updates for the console version? How frequently? |

I love this game so far, its perfect.
My only criticism is Froome seems fairly underrated, his endurance is poor compared to the likes of Contador.
One other point is about the choice of foods, does auto-select pick the best ones for the stage?

There are a few stats that don't seem realistic, but that always happens, right? |

Oh yeah it always happens but I found today that I got half way up Ax 3 Domaines and them couldn't keep up with Contador and lost over a minute.
I will try again tomorrow now I have some more practice and see if it wass just me being bad |

I did the double climb of Alp d'Huez with Gesink, with the objective of trying to win a mountain stage as well as pushing him up the rankings. I started over 10 mins back of the yellow jersey. I managed to get into a breakaway and then on the 1st climb went away on my own. My advantage just grew and grew and I ended up winning the stage by over 13 minutes and taking yellow!!!!!! |

I can't yet share my own "first impression" (as its not yet available in US for xbox), but its been getting awful reviews everywhere I look (on the internet). Not because of questionable AI, but simply because of poor (boring) gameplay and poor visual/scenery effects. |

Let me put it this way: if you're not into cycling, it's boring as hell.
If not, it's pretty good! |

I'm glad to hear that. And that makes sense. I'm would likely find the best skateboard game very dull, as I'm not into skateboarding. |

Anyone else find the game too easy? Playing with Garmin, I won stage 1 with Dan Martin from the break, by 1 min 45 seconds. On stage 2 I put Ryder in the break was able to hold off the peloton by 7 mins.
Then on stage 14 with Ryder I attacked a bit before the intermediate sprint to try gain a few points on Cavendish, during the chase the 80% of the peloton were dropped including every GC rider, by the time I was caught we had a 2min advantage over the gc group. Between Robbie Hunter, Tyler Farrar and Ryder Hesjedal I was able to gain 7 mins by the finish.
I'm 11 mins ahead of Blel Kadri (who happened to be in both breaks), 15 mins ahead of contador and 16 mins ahead of Froom. |

Yes. I wrote it early in this forum... the AI game is very poor... I think the game is better to play head to head or in coop mode. |

Anyone know what 1.0.1 does? Does it make the game a little bit harder? I'm tired of getting in breakaways and winning by 10 minutes.... |

That's it, I'm so close to snapping this disc. How is this fair:
Playing as Froome/sky....up on Contador by 2 seconds going into stage 19. The others are 2minutes+ down. Froome wins stage 19 by 21 seconds ahead of Contador but the overall time gap stays at 2 seconds??????
Then to make matters worse, we both burn out just as we are approaching the finish line at the end of stage 20.....he finishes just ahead of me by 9 seconds and is now 7 seconds ahead of me going to Paris. Not on!!!!!!
As I suspected playing this game for the last few weeks, it is stupidly waited in favour of Contador...unfairly imo!!!!! |

i beat contador with 2 minutes in 4 montain stages
i had tejay van garderen
at begin of every stage, you can use some energizants.take cookies with full yellow bar
so 2xfull yellow bar
in game that 2 cookies give you a segment of full stamina/energy
that stamina/energy bar has 5 segments
so you don't push when you are "eating" cookie and you will have 20% raised stamina
take and 2nd cookie and you will have a 40%
with 10 km before final climb, put your best teammate on climbs to protect you
use this thing and you will crush froome and contador with any rider that has 79-80 montain stats
you don't need to go in a breakaway, just remain in peleton shoulder to shoulder with contador and froome and you can kick their asses with 1-2 minutes
it's better to pushed from begin of final climb being protected and having that 2 cookies
Wow thats impressive, Contador always puts 1-2 minutes on me whilst playing with Gesink
But when i put teammates to protect me on climbs and i use auto follow i always fall back in the bunch, very annoying |
