We're not changing race dates or removing cancelled races. It makes the game way too unstable. |

I'm trying the Giro 2011. Seems there's a bug with a mountain stage, the one with Colle delle Finestre with a finish in Sestriere. It crashes to desktop before the intermediate sprint. |

Did you try reducing the graphic settings? If it crashes in-stage, it's often due to too high graphic settings. |

And a reminder:
And this is the end of "I can't install the DB"-like posts. If you want help, ask in the FAQ thread or in the technical forum. Any non-bug related posts will be deleted. |

any idea why, because it the STA_stage.xml file has very distinct columns and for new races it seems to work fine... anything in the local.cdb that causes this? |

If you change a race date, you also have to change the standard fitness schedules and the rider programs, among other things. It's a lot of work, especially when you know that you have to re-do it once PCM11 is released.
In addition to this, there's the instability that it causes. I've no idea what's causing it, but ifrom my experience it does create a lot of problems.
So all this put together, it's just not worth it for the little realism that's gained by changing the dates. |

Yes it will take a while. Its normal. Happened to me, but then I just clicked it 4 times went on the internet for a while and then it popped up.
Also wrong thread. Any other concerns regarding the actual unpacking of the database should be asked in the FAQ section.

I just dowloaded the DB, but as soon as it was installed (Correctly), PCM started to do strange things. My screen blinks when PCM is open, and when i press on the buttons in the menu, it crashes. This has never happened before, downloading some of your DB's, so i find it strange.
Anyone who have an idea why this strange behaviour occured? |

Purepasd: A DB can't really cause that. Having a lot of different DBs installed can, though. In general, when you experience stuff like that, it's usually time for a reinstall.
Evilhumer: As mentioned on page 1, yes |

HTC bike is Scott, I would have to be Spezialized, and the helmet is the last year
Katusha bike is Ridley, I would have to be Focus
Quick Step has the bike last year
SaxoBank's helmet is not the correct |

These aren`t bugs.
Equipment isn`t even made for most teams yet.
So it will take several weeks before all teams have their real equipment.
Just takes too much time to create equipment. |
