Björn Thurau will sign a 2-year contract with Europcar.
Pretty awesome transfer imo keeping in mind that his career was almost over 2 years ago, when ELK Haus abandoned. |

Apparently the stars will be Andy and Fränk Schleck, Cancellera, joined by Chris Horner, Andreas Klöden, Matthew Busche, Jani Brajkovic, Nelson Oliveira and Robert Wagner...with Johan Bruynell supposedly taking over.
Kim Andersen claims he hadn't even seen or heard about the press release, and that he only was informed of it by Danish Television when they phoned him to ask about it.
I have to say, somehow the irony of such disloyalty within the team makes me laugh a bit, considering how he and the Leotard boys screwed over Saxobank a year ago, and now get a taste of it themselves.
It makes me sad though, that Leotard screwed up the best Danish team just a year a ago, and now they screw over all their Danish riders once again (possibly with the exception of Fuglsang, but nothing confirmed there yet), by asking 11 riders to find new teams, even though they are still under contract...

I don't understand..didn't Hermans sign a contract with Leopard a month or so ago? He's at Radioshack now, and if they were going to merge...that's stupid.

Hindsight is 20/20 I don't think the merger was settled a month ago and I don't think the first concern would be to inform Hermans. Even if they had almost settled the merger a month ago then it would be much to risky to tell any of the riders, so well Hermans back and forth - a little funny nevertheless. |

Salvatore Puccio to Sky. Might be turning pro too early. They probably should've had more patience and given him an extra year like they did with Rowe, but then again you gotta grab them before other teams do.

Bruyneel said that any rider or staff member who signed with Leopard or RadioShack will have a contract next year. Zubeldia, Fuglsang and Bennati will also rider for "Radioshack-Nissan-Trek Pro Cycling Team that also presents Livestrong" in 2012.
