Just fiddled around with the guitar for a little while and came up with this. I think somebody here plays a bit of guitar so maybe you could give me some advice as to go from here? I'm feeling a bit stuck :P

Truckloads of songs in 4 times / 4 measures are usually built on either of those two patterns : C Am F G or Em C G D (I believe it's that, from memory).
Given you're starting with a D, maybe you try something along the first pattern, which'd make it D Bm G A ?
That should work well, you could also vary between D G A and D Bm G A to give the minor chord more emotional resonance.
With the overwhelming danger of making myself sound like a right idiot... do you mean D Bm G and A as in "chords" or "notes"?
Chord patterns, I'm not going to write it note-for-note for you :P |

Hehe, didn't expect you to either Just gonna have to incorporate the other chords into the sequence somehow. I only stumbled on to the D by accident, nothing I do is ever planned
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Can't a man ride with veterans without reproach?
The college tour was great, and then I did the Minuteman Challenge to Philadelphia. Lovely weather as well.
