Other than that fantastic race, the best WC RR I've ever seen. But I must admit I would like to have seen Kolobnev and Rodriquez being a bit more aware when Evans strolled off the front.
That I agree with. |

Best race of the season to watch!
Winner not so much... Would've loved to see Canc win. He was arguably best men in the race. But hey, so was Armstrong at the ladies race...
Nice to see Hoogerland as best Dutch rider! He did an awesome job today! |

You've just witness the best race of the year, and the best WC RR i've been around cycling to see.

Great ride by Evans, I'm really sorry for Cancellara, strongest and most determined rider today, but certainly not the smartest (spending the last eight kilometers before the three broke away drilling the group). Hoogerland rode great, and is quickly becoming one of my favorite riders. |

whats with all the negative crap, Evans is a little aggressive but he deserves every bit of this.
Would we rather see some doper like vino win?

Rominger was never world champ. Last guy to win it and wear it in the mountains was Luc Leblanc
Last Tour contender to wear it was Bugno and before that LeMond
Indeed you was faster..I was thinking Le Mond |

Omg no, that was the most hectic day of my life. "I don't care who wins, but please don't let it be Vino or Evans". Well, you can imagine how i feel now |

Oh I thought it was Rominger wearing it in the 96 Tour. Guess not
Edit: Must've been Olano then

Even if Cancellara finishes last, for me, he is the best, good win by Evans, finally he took revenge after what happened at the vuelta, finally he won something |

Yeah quote... 'Were not going to see the podium?!?!?!? Thats B*llocks!!!!'

Wow that was a strange race.... i was almost certain the break was going to get away and that Joaquim would win...
Although i was praying for it to be caught...
My analysis being Cancellara deserved atleast a medal he was the strongest in my opinion... All praise to Cadel he went at the right time... i thought he was going to be dropped at the top of the first climb... like Cunego.. but he clung on in there and counter attacked well...
Praise must go to Gilbert and Breschel... they handled themselves well.. although at one point i thought Breschel was going to work for Fabian... Cunego did well... but clearly didn't have anything left in the legs... although he did try to get across to Kolobnev and Joaquim but blew up
I thought that Valverde was rubbish... did enough to stay in there but i thought him being there stopped Sammy really giving it his all at times... And a final note... Thank God that Vino didn't get far with that attack
