It was Boom's acceleration at lap 5 which killed Mourey...
I don't see Mourey as favourite for the worlds either, too weak, definately.
Nys was good though. He wasn't riding even close to his full potential and took no risks at all and finished, what, 10 seconds behind the leaders? |

Boom really seems to have quite an unlucky season. totday the shoes, his crash a few weeks ago, I remember some flat tire and something with a kidney inflammation?
let's hope he'll have no bad luck in two weeks. |

any news on the parcours at hogerheijde?

Hoogerheide is Roubaix, but with much lesser turns. And also no technical downhills like here.
So basically it's just mud and a bunch of straights. Go watch the video of last year on Sporza and you'll see what I mean. |
