Slightly disappointted with Rosa but a stage win and a couple of good stage placings has been okay for us this Giro in what is an important race for the sponsors. Sadly like much of our season results have been very erratic.
Well, I've been checking my last results after a time being unable to connect and I'm extremely surprised! Velits winning Tour de Romandie GC, Elissonde being 2nd in California (only 1 second away... what a shame) and now Unai Arranz winning a stage on Tour des Fjords and being 7th on GC... wow that's a lot more than could be expected
also fantastic to see Specialized taking some huge points out of the Tour des Fjords...taken this team by heart for reasons and they deliver very well!
Yes, Specialized really put up their game this season, except for the horrific black shoes, ugh so ugly. Shame the signs point to disabandoment next year with Scatmaster not active.

Wow the team time trial actually went pretty well for us, didn't expect that. That means we've got 3 in the top 20 which is pretty decent. Good showing from Pellaud on the last stage as well, unfortunately he was already too far behind in the gc to move up into a good position, but good to see us trying at least.
Good stuff from Herr Klotz to hold on to the 3rd place in GC and winning white jersey. Uran had a great end to the Giro and TVG was unstoppable, so I'm very happy with the podium.
Nice to see Martin in top 20 on GC too, well deserved.
Bunzl domination was strong in this one, but hard to be mad about it as Brewers usually has bad luck.
Brilliant showing from the lads. 4th in the TTT, Nico getting two top 15s in the sprint stages and winning stage 2. 1st on GC for Nico and 6th in the Points. Very good race for Team Schuh.
Oh, a good performance after all. Looks like the boys in pink set up quite a train there, Vanbutsel-Groen-Gonzalez seems really strong in the U23 league.
The biggest question for me is why the Reizen Waes helmets worked for The Rider?
Thanks to both for the results, I also now posted the last stage of the Giro, a timetrial over the Via Appia Antica and through the city of Rome: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1211602
For the final classification you'll have to go to page 5 of the results thread. I also made a video:

For Italo it was a very decent race with Konrad in 11th and with a stage win and several other top 10s. Though had I known Capecchi could top 10 a GT, I wouldn't have released him, congrats to krisa about his performance.
I'll post some statistics on the race tomorrow or on Tuesday.

Not even 11 minutes in the end. Such a disappointment...
6 stage wins, countless top 5s, 1st and 7th in the GC, 2nd in Points, Mountains and Youth classifications and obliterating everyone in the Teams standings.
Meh, could have been better.

Gratz to the winner and the runner-ups and people who felt like they got more than they bargained for I myself think that this has been Illes Balears' shittiest performance in a GT of all time, and with 5 months over, the team has its back against a wall actually. We really have to count on Contador's TdF magic to unfold, thankfully our team there will be like a million times better but I expect sorta to get screwed over again in the 4-way battle of the greatest GT riders.
From the excitement this Giro was definitely the worst out there, too. Good for brewers' heart rate, bad for sorta neutral observers such as me.

Congrats Brewers for absolutely annihilating the competition at the Giro. Yates would have probably got on the podium too had he been riding for himself in the last week.
Sorry about the inactivity, have a lot going in my life right now. Mostly good things . Looking forward to June and July, 2 moths that will probably decide where Lufthansa end up in the CT. A bit of May still to go. We're not in action. And I might not be too either for the next week or so. Cheers!

Finally De Gendt's recovery gives him a win! Incredibly happy with how he raced, 2 stage wins and 3rd in the GC was way above expectations at the start.
Congrats on the dominant win brewers and once more thanks for all your hard work with the results bikex!
