Am I still allowed to change? If I'm not that's okay, it means I won't get pissed if Roux happens to podium tomorrow. |

Grand Prix Cycliste de Quebec Result
Podium
1) Michael Matthews
2) Greg Van Avermaet
3) Jasper Stuyven
The two most popular picks finished 1-2 in the race meaning a lot of points for most of our members. Matthews and GVA both had 10 picks. Stuyven did not have any backers.
Having picked both Matthews and Van Avermaet, Marco, Aquarius, df_Trek, Purepasd, Selwink, Hillis, Freitas, Abhishek and Jensi share the win in this race. No one had a zero score.
The updated table will be put up with the Montreal results. Stay tuned...

Grand Prix Cycliste de Quebec Result
Podium
1) Michael Matthews
2) Sonny Colbrelli
3) Greg Van Avermaet
Matthews' popularity decreased among our predictors, but he delivered the double in Canada. Van Avermaet once again was the most popular pick, and managed 3rd place. Colbrelli did not have any backers.
Five members picked Matthews, and they all had Van Avermaet as well. They pick up the win in race. They are Aquarius, df_Trek, Hillis, Jandal and Agent David. Four others had only Van Avermaet while Marco, Freitas and Jensi had none of the Top 3.
The updated table now looks like this:
| Name | Races Entered | Bonuses | Total Points | | df_Trek | 33 | 150 | 845 | | purepasd | 32 | 150 | 830 | | AbhishekLFC | 33 | 145 | 830 | | roturn | 33 | 140 | 785 | | hillis91 | 33 | 110 | 755 | | Aquarius97 | 33 | 80 | 745 | | FreitasPCM | 33 | 115 | 730 | | Marcovdw | 33 | 170 | 690 | | Selwink | 31 | 95 | 690 | | jandal7 | 33 | 140 | 660 | | Raziz | 26 | 105 | 565 | | Agent David | 15 | 30 | 465 | | trekbmc | 17 | 115 | 390 | | Croatia14 | 24 | 105 | 380 | | United Forever | 7 | 70 | 270 | | jensi251 | 6 | | 80 | | emre99 | 6 | | 75 | | aldrofj | 3 | 10 | 30 |
df_Trek climbs two spots to re-take the lead with Purepasd and Abhishek still tied, but now for 2nd place. Aquarius jumps above Freitas and both pull away from Marco. Jandal moves closer to Selwink while Jensi climbs a spot lower down.
Stay tuned for updates regarding the World Championships soon...

Probably a gap too big to df_trek to really fight for the win, but at least in Canada i've recovered some momentum, given how bad i did in the last months compared to early season

Canada brought good ones, but let see after Vuelta where I'm not sure about my predictions, without MAL and Nairo in top5...hopefully Pinot can break into, but there still many seconds to recover

Top 5
1) Simon Yates
2) Enric Mas
3) Miguel Angel Lopez
4) Steven Kruijswijk
5) Alejandro Valverde
KOM: Thomas De Gendt
Points: Alejandro Valverde
U25: Enric Mas
Answer to Bonus Question: On which stage will the final GC lead change take place? is Stage 14
Answer to Bonus Question: Which team will win the most stages? is Quick-Step Floors, 4 stages (Viviani x 3, Mas)
Simon Yates won the first Grand Tour of his career after having come close previously. This was the first GT win for the Mitchelton-Scott outfit as well. Enric Mas rode a blinder of a race to take 2nd, ahead of more fancied opponents, including favourite for the best U25 rider, Miguel Angel Lopez, who finished 3rd. 4th and 5th were two men who lost their podium places on the final day - Steven Kruijswijk and Alejandro Valverde.
Yates was a popular pick with seven members keeping him in their team. Precitably, no one had Mas a Top 5 contender. Lopez, on the other hand, was very popular, with ten backers in all. Only one pick for Kruijswijk while Valverde had five picks. Only one pick for de Gendt to be the KOM while Valverde was favoured to win the Points jersey by five members. All but one member had MAL as the best U25 rider, but no one had Mas. Only one member picked Stage 14 as the one with the final change at the top of the GC, while seven picked Quickstep to the team with the most stage wins.
With his picks of Yates and Lopez for the Top 5, Valverde for the the Points jersey and Quickstep to the most successful team in terms of stage wins, Freitas picks up the win in this race with a score of 105. df_Trek is second with 95, having picked Valverde instead of Lopez in the Top 5, in comparison to Freitas. Hillis and Abhishek tie for third.
The points table now looks like this:
| Name | Races Entered | Bonuses | Total Points | | df_Trek | 34 | 160 | 940 | | AbhishekLFC | 34 | 145 | 910 | | purepasd | 33 | 160 | 895 | | roturn | 34 | 140 | 845 | | hillis91 | 34 | 120 | 835 | | FreitasPCM | 34 | 125 | 835 | | Aquarius97 | 34 | 90 | 770 | | Selwink | 32 | 105 | 755 | | Marcovdw | 34 | 170 | 745 | | jandal7 | 34 | 150 | 730 | | Raziz | 26 | 105 | 565 | | Agent David | 16 | 30 | 520 | | trekbmc | 18 | 125 | 405 | | Croatia14 | 24 | 105 | 380 | | United Forever | 7 | 70 | 270 | | jensi251 | 7 | | 135 | | emre99 | 6 | | 75 | | aldrofj | 3 | 10 | 30 |
df_Trek extends his lead at the top of the standings with Abhishek now in sole second place. Freitas jumps past Aquarius, the latter had a horrible race, and moves to joint 5th place with Hillis. Above them, roturn has some catching up to do if he is to get back into the podium places. It is very close between Selwink, Marco and Jandal at the lower end of the Top 10.
