Everyone wanting a piece of the break, now beginning to think of the sprint and seemingly not willing to let anyone strong get a significant gap. Shorter stage too and last chance of a win for many before hardcore mountains begin, but still...Giroesque, who knows!?

Don't you usually give the break a little space in order not to have to chase down all those break attempts when the other breaks are reeled in?
It's still 50k to go in which you would then have to keep the pace very high

Poels is like a lead weight round the break. People thinking of "precious" top 15's plus totally not his terrain. Surely would've been better to wait a day or two.
