Clasica San Sebastien Result
Podium
1) Julian Alaphilippe
2) Bauke Mollema
3) Anthony Roux
The favourite for the win actually did win with Alaphilippe continuing his good season. He was picked by all 12 of our predictors. Mollema picked up a good second place, and was selected for a podium by four members. No one predicted Roux to get onto the podium.
With their picks of Alaphilippe and Mollema, Purepasd, Hillis, Roturn, Emre and debutante Jensi share the win on this stage. Everyone else who played had Alaphilippe besides Jandal who scores nothing in this race.
The updated table will be presented along with the result of Tour de Pologne. Stayed tuned and welcome to the game Jensi

Podium
1) Michal Kwiatkowski
2) Simon Yates
3) Thibaut Pinot
Once again, it was top favourite Kwiatkowski picking up the win in Pologne, followed by another rider tipped to do well in Yates. Pinot was not among the obvious candidates for a podium but he stepped up his preparation for the Vuelta in style.
Nine members picked Kwaitkowski to finish on the podium, with five going for Yates. No one predicted Pinot to be up there. Only two members thought that the GC winner would win two stages, while everyone else went for a single stage win.
dt_trek, purepasd and Agent David, all had the pair of Kwiatkowski and Mollema while hillis and roturn picked Kwiatkowski and predicted two stage wins for the GC winner. They all share the win in this race. Aquarius and Marcovdw disappointed with zero scores here.
The updated table now looks like this:
| Name | Races Entered | Bonuses | Total Points | | purepasd | 27 | 150 | 775 | | AbhishekLFC | 28 | 145 | 770 | | df_Trek | 28 | 150 | 760 | | roturn | 28 | 140 | 740 | | hillis91 | 28 | 110 | 670 | | FreitasPCM | 28 | 115 | 665 | | Aquarius97 | 28 | 80 | 655 | | Selwink | 26 | 95 | 650 | | Marcovdw | 28 | 170 | 630 | | jandal7 | 28 | 140 | 590 | | Raziz | 24 | 105 | 565 | | Agent David | 11 | 30 | 405 | | trekbmc | 16 | 115 | 390 | | Croatia14 | 24 | 105 | 380 | | United Forever | 7 | 70 | 270 | | emre99 | 5 | | 75 | | jensi251 | 2 | | 50 | | aldrofj | 3 | 10 | 30 |
purepasd takes the lead after four stunning races back-to-back. AbhishekLFC moves down to 2nd. roturn closes the gap on df_Trek for the final podium position. There is now a significant gap to 5th placed hillis, who had a good weekend himself. Selwink's misses in the last two races drops him down from 5th to 8th. At the bottom, jensi is already off last spot with just two races under his belt.
Just two more races (with the Binck Bank Tour already underway) before the Vuelta comes along, which could prove to be another turning point in the season. The run to the finish will be super-exciting given recent evidence of the fight at the top.
