Sign up for adfly, and you can use adfly to shorten links. If a shortened link is clicked, an ad is shown for (only) 5 seconds and then the clicker can continue to the actual place he wanted to go. I get like $0.001 per click

EDIT: If you're going to sign up, do it using this referral link, so I'll make more money too

I'm planning to travel around Europe at the end of the year Smile

What is best for travel? Should I book it all before I go? Or just fly to a major city (ie: London/Paris/Amsterdam/Berlin) and catch trains/buses around Europe from there?

I know this is a weird question, but it's because in Australia you need to book most of this in advance, but our economy is tiny compared to europe.

If you are looking for budget travel, which it sounds like you might be, go to a travel agent and just ask questions. They are usually free to just talk to and will help you with booking stuff.

I've now booked my own bit of travel. i'm heading to New York at the end of September until early November. I will be studying under a Professor at New York University, who is one of the leading experts in my field. Then I'm going to fly to London and my girlfriend and I are spending just over 3 weeks in Europe. We are going to Paris, Nice, Venice, Florence, Naples and Rome.

I'd say the cheapest and easiest way around Europe is with Interrail: https://www.interrail.eu/
