oh yeah they won one important race so they are the best in the world...

Lets wait for next year to see a real wc

That (from a british persepective) an amazing race.
The team did an awesome job for the 5 and a half hours, then that sprint.

If it was Road and Track, then Australia would be top. |

Oh. Dear. God.......I just had a horrifying realization
The Olympic RR next year is going to be just as boring
(cue british fans telling us how there's a hard hill in there, just like danish fans were saying about this race last year )

The only difference will be the 5-man teams. Although Box Hill is definitely harder than anything on this course but too far from the finish.

The 5 man teams might help slightly, good point.
I'm also mad at the danish organizers. What's with having the podium girls there for such a short time? I want to see more of them

That was a really un-organised sprint towwards the end. And Goss mad up a huge amount of ground on Cavendish in the end.

That's my hope, that the teams who want to make the race hard actually have the terrain to do it, even if it is not as selective as an important one day race should be. Still, I rank the Worlds much, much higher than the Olympics, and this year's race just hurted my eyes. This devaluates the concept of the World Champion.
