@slott,
yes I understand the need. I've steered clear of install versions, because if its not huge enough then it doesnt warrant creating one and also so many people are uploading programs, add-ons, DB packs, jersey packs and images in .ace format, its part of the normal behaviour in Cyanide Forum and also here. I have Install Creator, so I will look at putting together another version to assist the minority.

Well, that's what I needed to know. To me an .ace file is a graphics format used for texturing of 3-D models in Microsoft Train Simulator.
Now that I know that this file was a packed file I was able to open it with WinRAR. Just needed that one missing piece of information. I know what to do with the unpacked files.

That's the "tricky" one. As you can see, there's lots and lots of different files which all need to be extracted to different places. If Roadie won't write an installation guide I'll have a look at it later. |
