Two bad months in a row. Its time to bounce back and we are hoping April is the time to do that. Strong squads going to races and also the return of Bryan Coquard. Here is our race attendance for April!
| Start | End | Race | Category | | 13-Apr | 17-Apr | Tour of Slovenia | PTHC | | 25-Apr | | GP Wallonie | HC | | 28-Apr | | Lisbon Classic | HC |
Tour of Slovenia
A hard but interesting race. A flat stage, TTT, Hilly stages and an ITT. A hard one to call and hard to decide on who to send. In the end stage wins are the main goal. Carlos is our GC guy but not expecting a huge result. Kelderman is there to try and go for a stage while the rest of the squad is really there just for the TTT. Howson though should have a chance in the ITT.

GP Wallonie
GP Wallonie is a race we have been aiming at for the hills squad this season. Edmondson had a strong podium finish last season which shows us the race suits him and Kelderman is a similar rider and should also do well. We are really hoping for some strong points in Belgium!
| Rider | FL | MT | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | Kelderman | 68 | 69 | 75 | 80 | 68 | 77 | 72 | 70 | 60 | 65 | 69 | 75 | 69 | Bennett | 65 | 79 | 77 | 74 | 63 | 72 | 71 | 74 | 56 | 63 | 70 | 53 | 61 | Edmondson | 69 | 68 | 73 | 78 | 63 | 73 | 70 | 65 | 53 | 69 | 74 | 67 | 71 | Duyvesteyn | 68 | 70 | 74 | 77 | 65 | 67 | 71 | 68 | 60 | 64 | 76 | 75 | 67 | Thompson | 72 | 73 | 72 | 70 | 65 | 69 | 73 | 69 | 57 | 67 | 70 | 65 | 74 | Thornley | 68 | 61 | 66 | 70 | 65 | 68 | 70 | 65 | 66 | 67 | 70 | 66 | 61 | Schrettl | 64 | 67 | 69 | 71 | 58 | 68 | 71 | 66 | 55 | 56 | 65 | 60 | 71 | Arrieta | 64 | 71 | 68 | 64 | 57 | 68 | 70 | 66 | 61 | 64 | 67 | 78 | 66 |
Lisbon Classic
The final race of the month sees the return of 2nd place in the PCT rider standings, Bryan Coquard. He finished 4th here last season and we are hoping he can improve on that and at least get a podium. It clashes with another big one day sprint race so hopefully that means the competition isn't as strong as it could be. Only time will tell!
| Rider | FL | MT | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | Coquard | 72 | 58 | 62 | 66 | 64 | 69 | 72 | 82 | 55 | 83 | 81 | 59 | 64 | Afewerki | 72 | 62 | 63 | 63 | 62 | 76 | 69 | 79 | 68 | 78 | 79 | 67 | 69 | Edmondson | 73 | 58 | 61 | 64 | 64 | 72 | 71 | 77 | 74 | 77 | 75 | 67 | 64 | Skala | 74 | 56 | 64 | 71 | 56 | 70 | 72 | 65 | 74 | 66 | 71 | 72 | 74 | Vanthourenhout | 75 | 66 | 67 | 68 | 72 | 68 | 73 | 68 | 74 | 68 | 68 | 70 | 73 | Mudgway | 70 | 59 | 62 | 64 | 60 | 71 | 66 | 76 | 65 | 76 | 78 | 65 | 65 | Thompson | 72 | 73 | 72 | 70 | 65 | 69 | 73 | 69 | 57 | 67 | 70 | 65 | 74 | Gonov | 66 | 68 | 67 | 66 | 71 | 67 | 73 | 71 | 58 | 67 | 67 | 67 | 75 |

I wish I had something else to say but another small month for us. Only 9 RDs though. Still not the greatest amount of points.
Tour of Slovenia
A race that we had high hopes for. Seemed like we should have been able to achieve much more then what we thought. We had Vanthourenhout in the breakaway and that was our best part of stage 1. Our whole team got dropped and lost at least 2'55s. The TTT was not any better. Finished in 18th place losing even more time. Stage 3 was a bit of a redemption day for us. A hilly finish which Kelderman was targeting for the race. He was in a great position with Carlos Rodriguez with him. Kelderman managed to sprint to 3rd place and Carlos got 8th in the end. Both scoring some much needed points for us. Kelderman went on the attack near the end of stage 4. Chasing to the breakaway. He just wasn't able to hold on. Still finished well and within 2 minutes to the front in 18th place. The last stage was an ITT and even though Howson and Rodriguez are strong TT riders, they just couldn't convert. Rodriguez was our best in GC and finished in 50th overall over 13 minutes back.
GP Wallonie
A race that we hoped would finish with a strong result. Edmondson had a great finish last year and we wanted him to race well again! Kelderman just wasn't able to finish in the front group. Edmondson could though and he finished in 6th place and Kelderman in 13th.
Lisbon Classic
The return of Bryan Coquard! Its a very hilly race though so not the greatest route for him. Coquard ended up in 17th place as the same time as the front group. He just wasn't quite fast enough or close enough to get into that top 10. Still a great return for him!
| Start | End | Race | Result | | 13-Apr | 17-Apr | Tour of Slovenia | Rodriguez 50th +13'08s | | 25-Apr | | GP Wallonie | Edmondson 6th s.t. | | 28-Apr | | Lisbon Classic | Coquard 17th s.t. |
Another small month for us. 113 points from 9 RDs. We move down 2 positions but with the return of Coquard, May should be a really exciting and hopefully high scoring month!

Coquard has returned after his month off. With a 17th place in Portugal, He is hoping he can improve in his next race in Gabon.
| Start | End | Race | Category | | 01-May | 05-May | La Tropicale Amissa Bongo | C1 | | 07-May | 10-May | Tour of the Middle East | C2 | | 12-May | 25-May | Tour of America | C1 | | 27-May | | Paris Tours | HC | | 29-May | | Tour of the Battenkill | PTHC |
La Tropicale Amissa Bongo
A race almost designed for a rider like Coquard. 2 prologue like ITTs and 3 sprint stages. He is targeting the overall here. Minimum requirement is a stage win, top 10 GC and hopefully the points jersey. Howson and Marryatt join him here to target the ITTs and A. Edmondson as his lead out rider.
| Rider | FL | MT | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | Coquard | 72 | 58 | 62 | 66 | 64 | 69 | 72 | 82 | 55 | 83 | 81 | 59 | 64 | Howson | 70 | 58 | 61 | 64 | 79 | 71 | 72 | 70 | 57 | 63 | 66 | 71 | 62 | Edmondson | 73 | 58 | 61 | 64 | 64 | 72 | 71 | 77 | 74 | 77 | 75 | 67 | 64 | Skala | 74 | 56 | 64 | 71 | 56 | 70 | 72 | 65 | 74 | 66 | 71 | 72 | 74 | Vanthourenhout | 75 | 66 | 67 | 68 | 72 | 68 | 73 | 68 | 74 | 68 | 68 | 70 | 73 | Marryatt | 71 | 61 | 65 | 68 | 77 | 67 | 74 | 67 | 57 | 60 | 58 | 67 | 63 | Syritsa | 69 | 61 | 64 | 66 | 58 | 71 | 72 | 65 | 70 | 67 | 68 | 65 | 67 | Arrieta | 64 | 71 | 68 | 64 | 57 | 68 | 70 | 66 | 61 | 64 | 67 | 78 | 66 |
Another C2 race and basically the same team as it will always be for C2 races. Power leads the young guys here with 2 flat stages and a hilly and mountain to finish, a top 10 in GC is the goal but would prefer something higher up thanks to his great energy stats. Mudgway is the sprinter here so hopefully a top 10 or 2 in the opening days. ll other guys will help where they can but mainly here for experience.
| Rider | FL | MT | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | Power | 67 | 77 | 74 | 70 | 66 | 77 | 76 | 79 | 59 | 56 | 63 | 61 | 65 | Mudgway | 70 | 59 | 62 | 64 | 60 | 71 | 66 | 76 | 65 | 76 | 78 | 65 | 65 | Thornley | 68 | 61 | 66 | 70 | 65 | 68 | 70 | 65 | 66 | 67 | 70 | 66 | 61 | Gonov | 66 | 68 | 67 | 66 | 71 | 67 | 73 | 71 | 58 | 67 | 67 | 67 | 75 | Arrieta | 64 | 71 | 68 | 64 | 57 | 68 | 70 | 66 | 61 | 64 | 67 | 78 | 66 | Orins | 69 | 54 | 58 | 61 | 67 | 71 | 69 | 61 | 68 | 63 | 63 | 74 | 60 | Narraway | 58 | 68 | 68 | 67 | 54 | 68 | 70 | 69 | 54 | 59 | 67 | 68 | 64 | Torrico Menachio | 63 | 70 | 67 | 63 | 57 | 69 | 65 | 65 | 63 | 57 | 61 | 69 | 74 |
 Tour of America
A really important race for our season and for Carlos Rodriguez. He has been struggling in races prior to this so this is an important turning point for him. He should be competitive in the U25 classification and maybe even fight for the top 10 in GC thanks to his good all round stats. Bennett joins him as a stage hunter. Afewerki is the sprinter here but with no leadout he will have to work for himself. Power also joins as key mountain support for Carlos along with Thompson. Marryatt wants to target the 2 ITTs. A really important race for us here so we are hoping to see some success in a race that we have done quite well in during previous seasons.
| Rider | FL | MT | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | Rodriguez | 69 | 78 | 75 | 72 | 73 | 73 | 74 | 75 | 55 | 65 | 71 | 67 | 71 | Bennett | 65 | 79 | 77 | 74 | 63 | 72 | 71 | 74 | 56 | 63 | 70 | 53 | 61 | Afewerki | 72 | 62 | 63 | 63 | 62 | 76 | 69 | 79 | 68 | 78 | 79 | 67 | 69 | Power | 67 | 77 | 74 | 70 | 66 | 77 | 76 | 79 | 59 | 56 | 63 | 61 | 65 | Marryatt | 71 | 61 | 65 | 68 | 77 | 67 | 74 | 67 | 57 | 60 | 58 | 67 | 63 | Thompson | 72 | 73 | 72 | 70 | 65 | 69 | 73 | 69 | 57 | 67 | 70 | 65 | 74 | Thornley | 68 | 61 | 66 | 70 | 65 | 68 | 70 | 65 | 66 | 67 | 70 | 66 | 61 | Schrettl | 64 | 67 | 69 | 71 | 58 | 68 | 71 | 66 | 55 | 56 | 65 | 60 | 71 |
Paris Tours
Pan flat. Coquard territory. We are hoping he can continue his excellent form in this HC classic. Some extremely important points on the line here. A. Edmondson and Mudgway are key sprint leadouts along with Skala, Vantherenhout and Thompson to help on the extremely flat roads.
| Rider | FL | MT | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | Coquard | 72 | 58 | 62 | 66 | 64 | 69 | 72 | 82 | 55 | 83 | 81 | 59 | 64 | Edmondson | 73 | 58 | 61 | 64 | 64 | 72 | 71 | 77 | 74 | 77 | 75 | 67 | 64 | Skala | 74 | 56 | 64 | 71 | 56 | 70 | 72 | 65 | 74 | 66 | 71 | 72 | 74 | Vanthourenhout | 75 | 66 | 67 | 68 | 72 | 68 | 73 | 68 | 74 | 68 | 68 | 70 | 73 | Mudgway | 70 | 59 | 62 | 64 | 60 | 71 | 66 | 76 | 65 | 76 | 78 | 65 | 65 | Thompson | 72 | 73 | 72 | 70 | 65 | 69 | 73 | 69 | 57 | 67 | 70 | 65 | 74 | Gonov | 66 | 68 | 67 | 66 | 71 | 67 | 73 | 71 | 58 | 67 | 67 | 67 | 75 | Torrico Menachio | 63 | 70 | 67 | 63 | 57 | 69 | 65 | 65 | 63 | 57 | 61 | 69 | 74 |
Tour of the Battenkill
Finally a PTHC cobbles race. Same team sent as all other cobbled races this season. Best we can hope for are points so that is the goal!

The two races already finished looked good for you! The ToA lineup should offer some nice options both in the GC and in stage hunting, but especially a U25 run by Rodriguez. Coquard is a top favourite in every flat classic, so P-T is essentially all about preventing a disappointment. Finally Battenkill is probably the only race of the month without a reasonable contender.

@KB - I think in the end it was a really successful month! Lots of points and a higher average points then what we had already. Really great and will be good to see a rankings update!
La Tropicale Amissa Bongo
One of the best races of our season! An excellent start to an important month for us! 3 stage wins, 1 podium and 2nd place in the GC. Coquard sprinted well to 2 stage wins, making his total stage wins 6 for the season. Howson had an incredible final TT and took the win, however missed out on the GC win by 1 second. A lot of important points for us here!
Tour of the Middle East
The Tour of the Middle East is a C2 race that we have high hopes for! Stage 1 was not great. Stage 2 meant Mudgway got a great podium. Stage 3 was a hill stage and Power was able to hold onto the main group and lose no time. The final stage is a big mountain stage! Power finished 5th in the stage and takes 5th in the GC. A great finish and some great points for us from the C2 squad.
Tour of America
We enjoyed our 6th places in this race. 5 x 6th places in the 14 day ToA. We did get a great win with Afewerki getting his first win for the team on stage 11. He had an excellent sprint and finished with quite a large gap on the rest of the sprinters. Carlos had a fantastic race in the GC. He wore the white jersey for most of the race. In the end he finished in 13th position in the General Classification. An excellent result for him!
Paris Tours
A decent race for us. We definitely expected better! Coquard managed 15th place. It was a hard long race so he got the best result he could get.
Tour of the Battenkill
Edmondson got into the breakaway, he was able to hold on and do quite well. He wasn't able to get points but Vanthourenhout and Skala were able to get us some points in a race where that is all we expected.

After a fantastic May, we want to continue that into June.
| Start | End | Race | Category | | 01-Jun | 07-Jun | Tour of California | C1 | | 03-Jun | | Hanko Classic | PTHC | | 10-Jun | | Frankfurt Eschborn | C2 | | 14-Jun | 20-Jun | Criterium du Dauphine Libere | PTHC | | 20-Jun | | Berlin ProRace | C1 |
Tour of California
Carlos is our big guy here. We are really hoping for a top 10 in GC. Wilco could also get a strong result with the hill stages seeming to suit him quite well. The Time trials could go well for Howson as well and also be the difference for Carlos Rodriguez to get a high GC.

Bryan Coquard is looking for a great finish at the PTHC level in Finland. A pan flat race that suits him quite well! A strong leadout should be good for him!

Criterium du Dauphine Libere
A sponsor goal for us. We really want a top 5 but the PTHC level will make that quite difficult. Rodriguez is the leader and with 2 TTs, one a hilly TT and mountain finishes, Carlos should be able to achieve quite a good finish. A top 5 could be really doable! No sprinter here but Duyvesteyn will try to get a good result in the hill stage.

May was a great month and we really needed. A fantastic January was followed by an extremely disappointing February, March and April. With Coquard returning in the final race of April, he was out to score big in May! He did just that and scored a quarter of our points for the month and restored his place at the top of the PCT individual standings. We have cemented ourselves well in the mid table of the PCT and are extremely happy so far. Still plenty of time to get ourselves into the top 10 in the PCT team rankings.

Coquard is a beast this season! Howson is adding some nice results as well while Rodriguez is doing okay so far, but you will have real fun with him from next season onwards!

@bbl - Thanks mate! Coquard with some more great races this month as well! Might even get into the top 10 this month!
@kandesbunzler26 - Yeh a few more good results for those guys this month! Rodriguez missing out though on some good results unfortunately.
Tour of California
A good start from Howson with a 4th in the ITT. Alex Edmondson continued that form with 2nd place. 2nd place again for Wilco Kelderman in stage 3. So close to a victory but still a fantastic effort! Stage 4 was a rough one. Kelderman finished in the front group, however Carlos got dropped and lost a lot of time. Edmondson continued and got a great 2nd place! Howson finished off the race with a great 3rd place in the final ITT. GC wise it was not great. Kelderman was 29th over 10 minutes behind and was our best finisher!
Hanko Classic
Coquard was fantastic today and finished in 3rd place. He was so close to the win but got beaten out by Gaviria and Farantakis.
Frankfurt Eschborn
Not the best race for us but its our C2 team. Edmondson was leading the team and after the Tour of California we were hoping for a top 10. He could only manage 21st.
Criterium du Dauphine Libere
A hard race and a hard start for us. A PTHC race and a goal of ours to get a top 5. Howson looked great in the ITT and finished in 13th with Marryatt narrowly beating him in 11th. Marryatt then went into the breakaway for stage 2 and he took the KOM jersey for a couple of days. No sprinter here so stage 3 had no one there for us. Stage 4 we had Power and Bennett finish close together over 3 minutes back. In stage 5 the breakaway won, but Bennett won the sprint home and took 6th place on the stage! The stage 6 ITT we struggled but Carlos moved up in GC. The final stage and our GC position wasn't great. Power went into the breakaway to try and get a win or good finish to save our race. He managed to get 4th place, but the great thing was he gained a lot of time and moved into 15th in GC, Bennett and Rodriguez also moved up and in the end we actually gained quite a few places in GC. Earning us some great points! Marryatt finished 3rd in the KOM and Rodriguez moved up into 4th in the youth rankings. In the end a decent race for us and some really good points! We wanted better but in the end we managed to do save our race.
Berlin ProRace
Coquard was here with Afewerki as his leadout. The leadout struggled and we did a lot of chasing throughout the day. This led to our leadout struggling and Coquard having to sprint from quite far back. He managed to take 8th place. We were really hoping for a top 3 but an 8th will have to do! Still some more points for Coquard and we are hoping enough to keep his lead in the PCT rankings!

Congrats on a good month of May. Coquard doing quite well usually (although Berlin was a bit disappointing), and so far so good in the race to at least not relegate. Almost time to unleash a maxed Rodriguez in some months

@Nemo - Thanks mate! Definitely could have been a better month if some results went a different way but thats racing I suppose. Really glad Coquard has paid off though. I was nervous going into the season. Rodriguez also could be performing better but he can have a pass until next season.
It's really good to see Howson doing well now with a couple of stage wins!

June was a decent month for us and we move up in the team rankings to 12th. Coquard has been overtaken in the individual rankings by Powless but still has the opportunity to win the PCT individual rankings with a few months left and some big races that suit our French sprinter!

 Benelux Challenge
We are hoping for some decent results here. The prologue is a good goal for Howson and he could get a good result. Afewerki also could get some good results in the sprints with the field not being super strong. We are also hoping to maybe get a decent result in GC with Vanthourenhout or Skala but some extremely strong cobbles riders will make that difficult. We just want to achieve some strong points in this race and think we have the team that could do that.

Tour d'Andorra
This is a race that we could do well in. We have a decent mountain team with a strong leader that can compete in the mountain TT as well. Carlos is our leader and we hope for a strong GC position. We also have Bennett here who finished in 9th in GC last season. Power is here after have a strong last few races as well. All of our squad have a decent mountain climbing ability and should be excellent support to the leaders. If Carlos can keep up with the favourites in the first few mountain stages, then he will be able to cement his strong position in the mountain time trial.

Season is going well so far and I see you now away from relegation trouble. Lets see if Coquard can get back to the top of Individual standings.

@AbhishekLFC - Really happy with our season so far! Coquard has just been continuing his excellent form all year and now our secondary riders are starting to deliver as well!!
Clasica San Sebastian
We had Syritsa in the breakaway today. Good to see the young rider showing off the jersey today! Edmondson ended up being our best finisher in 24th place. Just over a minute behind the eventual winner.
Benelux Challenge
An excellent start to the race for us! Howson takes the stage win and his 2nd of the year. He takes the yellow jersey as well! Howson kept the yellow jersey for a few days! Stage 2 saw Afewerki finish in 6th place. Stage 4 is where Howson lost the yellow jersey. The next few days on the cobbles were not good for us. But the final stage was a flat sprint and Afewerki finished again in his favourite position of the year, 6th place.
Tour d'Andorra
Well a race we thought could do really well in and also a top 10 goal. It started off terribly with Carlos and Bennett losing 27 minutes. Stage 2 was bad again. None of our riders were in the front group. Stage 3 was our best day yet! Bennett was in the breakaway and managed to stay in front of the peloton. He just wasn't quite able to hold on to the front group but he got 3rd and on the podium. The MTT was not amazing. Carlos finished top 20 and 1 minute back. We had 4 riders in the breakaway on the last day and we were really hoping for a stage win. Power was our last remaining rider but got caught by the main group. He finished 3rd in the stage and got us another peloton.

Not the best month for us but not too bad. Still some decent results for us but just no good GC finishes to really push our points up!

I had hoped Schomber would enjoy a few days in the yellow jersey, but Howson was too strong in Benelux Tour

Not a great month but the team currently seems safe from relegation!

A maxed CRod will make a huge difference in races like Andorra I guess. Something to look forward to next PCT season

Been a bit of an odd one for you guys from the outside looking in this year but glad even if it's been a total up and down mixed bag it's bearing out to an okay rankings position currently. Hope they can see it through and work towards truly establishing a more durable PCT core next year - I can think of one obvious thing that will hugely help with that that requires no effort from you in transfers

Ras Tailteann should have been the final bit to allow planning for PCT one more season. Coquard is just really strong this year, would be cool to see him at the top of the rankings one last time (at least on this level)! And once maxed Rodriguez won't be dropped randomly in fitting races any more. And hopefully Vauquelin won't have to face him as U25 competition to both our advantage

The most important thing is survival, and you should be there at this point! Definitely some up and down, but you should survive, and you're gonna see CRod take a huge leap next year. So much of the engine is just whether the AI considers your guy worth protecting, and his max stats should definitely jump him into that tier.
