From announcing the current sprint leader earlier, we are now delighted to announce that we were able to agree terms with the most talented young Slovenian sprinter since the likes of Marko Kump and Luka Mezgec. We have already agreed that he will spend his first pro season on loan at Trans Looney Tunes.
With that said we welcome:
Daniel Skerl | Age: 22 | Lvl: 1.00 | Wage: 120k | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 69 | 57 | 62 | 66 | 57 | 69 | 70 | 67 | 65 | 72 | 72 | 63 | 65 | 61 |
Skerl: This is a perfect situation for me. It's where I wanted to be first and foremost. I'm excited to ride a ton of races while on loan, but I'm even more excited when I think about riding and competing at the highest level!

When you have Tadej Pogacar on your team you are always in need of some domestique riders for the high mountains. If you can get them while they're still young and on an affordable wage, then that's even better. That's what we were able to accomplish with this signing.
Sergio Chumil | Age: 25 | Lvl: 4.58 | Wage: 60k | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 66 | 74 | 73 | 71 | 71 | 73 | 72 | 72 | 55 | 62 | 67 | 67 | 68 | 71 |
Chumil: From the early talks I've had it seems I'll be racing a lot including doing a Grand Tour. I can do a bit of everything in stage racing and that's what will be expected from me. It's all very exciting and I can't wait to get started!

Has to be at least alright considering some of the FA wages, but there's always a few that end up cheaper. Trust me I overpaid elsewhere
Yes, very happy with this one

While most of our recent deals have seen us move away from the time-trialing focus, that doesn't mean we won't pursue good results in this discipline in the future. So we had zero qualms investing in this young talent who will spend his first season on loan at Sauber Petronas Racing.
Mohammad Al Mutaiwei | Age: 22 | Lvl: 1.00 | Wage: 90k | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 69 | 61 | 61 | 61 | 70 | 68 | 66 | 67 | 57 | 63 | 63 | 68 | 67 | 69 |
Al Mutaiwei: I don't come from a big cycling nation, but I'm proud to carry that flag and also the fact I can do it at the top level of cycling. I still have so much to learn and I can't wait for every step on this journey.

This is our final free agent signing of the transfer season. We have to be honest we were spinning our wheels a bit at the end as we didn't have a good picture of what we wanted to do. In that situation we simply went for who we thought was the most talented rider still available. And since he's a neo pro he will spend his first season on loan at Ethiopian Airlines.
With that said we welcome:
Florian Kajamini | Age: 22 | Lvl: 1.00 | Wage: 535k | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 70 | 55 | 62 | 69 | 64 | 71 | 69 | 60 | 72 | 66 | 69 | 66 | 60 | 57 |
Kajamini: It was a very long process to get everything sorted out and the papers signed. I'm joining a team that has put a lot of resources in the cobbled department recently so I believe this is a really good fit for my future. In the meantime I'm excited to get a lot of racing in my legs in CT.

Needless to say how much I wanted him as my heir apparent cobbles leader given my bidding throughout the window, but ultimately I just wasn't willing to go closer to a million to get it done. I appreciated the large overbid in the end as it made it a little more palatable to finally move on.
Kajamini is going to be a tremendous rider, congrats!

Would need to see the other teams, but I think top 10 is still closer to the ceiling.

I was out of options at that point so I went all in so to speak

We made a conscious effort to trim our squad size compared to previous years and perhaps we even overdid it a touch. So it was necessary to boost our numbers as well as our intent to help other teams develop their riders. Both of these lads will add a certain quality and will be valued members of our squad for the upcoming season.
Gerben Kuypers | Age: 25 | Lvl: 4.31 | Wage: 50k | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 69 | 60 | 67 | 74 | 58 | 69 | 75 | 68 | 72 | 64 | 75 | 67 | 76 | 60 |
Gerben is a rider with a very interesting skill set. We expect him to be a regular fixture in our lineup for cobbled races and he'll most likely also be heavily involved in the hilly classics. We are still in the process of figuring out our planning, but there's also a good chance of him riding in one of the three Grand Tours. We are happy we were able to arrange this loan deal with Bralirwa - Cegeka.
Eric Antonio Fagundez | Age: 27 | Lvl: 4.33 | Wage: 50k | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 72 | 61 | 61 | 60 | 75 | 73 | 73 | 69 | 62 | 67 | 71 | 67 | 68 | 75 |
Eric is a bit more of a straight forward rider. He has one really good skill and that's time-trialing. We sold some of our better TT specialists so he'll fill in nicely in all the time-trial focused races as well as anywhere else when required. We thank team Lotto-Caloi for allowing us to have Eric with us for the season.

Looking forward to see Eric racing in your colours My TT outings will be limited to the bare minimum, so I'm glad he can develop in PT.

In another busy transfer season where we again looked to raise some training funds as well as bring in some new leadership, we had a total of 13 riders leaving the team. That means that out of the 25 riders that had their contracts renewed, more than half have a new home.
Steven Lammertink
After another very successful season in leading our TT efforts, Steven Lammertink left for new pastures. After a bit of a bidding war he eventually left to join JEWA TIROL for a fee of 1.05m. Steven leaves as the best time-trialist to over ride for the team!
Daniel Habtemichael, Michael Christodoulos
Kraftwerk Man Machine were very interested in streamlining their team for their season in CT. After some discussions we found that Daniel and Michael were the riders they wanted. Daniel was a valued domestique for both Tadej Pogacar and Tao Geoghegan Hart in our first two PT seasons. Michael has been with us since his start in the pro peloton. In exchange we added Rick Zabel and a fee of 900k.
Riley Sheehan
After spending just a season with us Riley who is still developing gets an exciting opportunity for a bigger role at Tryg - Eni. This was a swap deal with no fees involved, coming our way was Michal Schlegel.
Robert Power
Robert leaves after signing as a free agent last year. He is a capable mountain domestique that could have continued in his current role, but gets to spread his wings more at our friends who were recently promoted to PCT, Spark Team NZ. He leaves for a nominal fee of only 150k.
Daniel Hoelgaard
Daniel is another case of only a one year stay here. We loved Daniel with the way he led us in hilly races and how he looked for his own chances as well as helped our higher rated leaders. He leaves for Tafjord Kraft with our best wishes as he was included in a 250k swap deal for Pascal Ackermann.
Milos Borisavljevic
Milos joined us back in 2022 and after spending last season on loan, he now finds a permanent move. He was a great domestique and depth scorer especially in our promotion season to PT. Milos joins Air New Zealand-Prada for a fee of 500k and Deins Kanepejs.
Gasper Katrasnik
Gasper has been with us for three of the last four seasons. Last year he again showed he can play a big role at the top level, but with the additions in the sprint department it made sense for both parties to move on. He is joining Ekoi - Le Creuset for a fee worth 400k.
Tao Geoghegan Hart
This is the most surprising departure of the transfer season. Tao has left a lasting mark with us in our two seasons in the Pro Tour. He's been a rock for us and one of the main factors in our time-trial focused identity. We were in the process of a slight transition and when Polar expressed their interest we felt that this was the correct decision. For an additional fee of 100k we acquired sprinter Jasper Philipsen.
Rick Zabel
At one point Rick was on course to become our lead sprinter, but with the addition of Philipsen we felt we could explore the market for him. He ends up joining newly promoted Trans Looney Tunes in PCT for a fee of 900k.
Deins Kanepejs
Deins wasn't here for long. He arrived as part of the Borisavljevic deal and we we were happy to reroute him to the brand new Baltic team Kone-Nordea for a 75k fee.
Santiago Buitrago
In what was a late transfer season deal Santiago leaves for a big fee of 1.1m, but a bit more context to that will be added in the loans section. It looked like for a long time that he would stay with us, but we're excited to see him in his new team Ethiopian Airlines. We are big fans of his and we hope he's found the right place to show off his talent.
Aljaz Jarc, Aleks Bechkov
The slow burn developing continues with these two as they go on loan again and stay together again. While there is some hesitation on whether it might have been better to keep them around, we're sure they'll have a good time close by at the MOL Cycling Team.
Dusan Rajovic
With the arrivals of Philipsen and Ackermann we felt sprinting opportunities will be a bit more sparse this year. But there was no way we wanted to part with Dusan permanently. So we were happy to find this deal for him where he can ride at a really good level this upcoming season. It's a wage split and a 300k deal as he moves to Ekoi - Le Creuset for 2025.
Mohammad Al Mutaiwei
Our future time-trial specialist will spend his first season at Sauber Petronas Racing, where as the name suggests he should do plenty of racing to develop his talent.
Daniel Skerl
The young sprinter will eventually grow into a capable leader, but before that he needs to gain a lot of experience and he'll get that by riding for Trans Looney Tunes for this upcoming season.
Florian Kajamini
Florian is the most expensive neo pro we have ever signed. As a result his loan fee is very high which dovetails with the Buitrago deal. Yes, Florian will be riding for Ethiopian Airlines alongside Santiago. He might not do many cobbled races this year, but we can focus on that when he comes back for next season.
