It's been a good race from APP who's doing really well in this hilly stage races. 5th is as good as it could get for him as long as we don't have a better TTT support, but finishing in the points in all hilly stages shows he really is made for this kind of race.
Good stage from Dunbar, did everything he needed to do. So happy that after a few tries now he has finally managed a decent result here - the TTT team is always a worry but am glad it worked here. Dunbar needed to deliver after the fuck up in Norway (and Bagioli upstaging him ), so very glad that he has managed to take home the GC
THJ was huge in this race and is rewarded for such good performances. Oomen was quiet, but not many riders can say they’ve had a quiet race and still achieve a great GC result like that too.
