Thought Nikiema might have had a better chance than that at the stage win but 4th is a nice end to the season for our neo-pro. Pretty dour race overall, typical Bennett 11th place finish, seems like some races like this and California he’ll always underperform a little bit and come around there Now it’s over to Areruya in Emelia to get all the points he can, and hope we can keep the great teams around us at bay!
Congrats roturn, great race for you even if as you said your team didn’t go full Cannibal in the last stages And thanks redordead for the always entertaining reports, even when we are almost totally anonymous you made it fun reading

Obviously no changes on the podium as none of them participated in Maroc. Festina might have closed a bit or extended the gap to the next, but nothing big.
The main changes are at the mid table and relegation zone.
Aegon scored the most here and did climb past Aker for the final safe spot right now with a bit of a gap as well. Meanwhile UBS scored a bit but it is still a long way to go while ISA - Hexacta kind of resued themselves with a strong Maroc performance as well.
eBuddy, Grieg and EA Vesuvio fight for the top10 spots, which might be important for some goals.

Congratulations on brilliant performances when it mattered the most, both roturn and Scorchio
That's a rough update for us. We'll need some sort of a sensational performance in both Tasmania and Lombardia to survive.
Well, we'll need to rebuild
Yeah, the latest performances were all but ideal for you. First Volvo showed up with a surprise win starting to open a gap, now my team and ISA also performed huge.
You obviously have a stronger team in both remaining races, but the gap is bigger than I had expected before Maroc to be honest.
That most certainly brings Aegon to safety. What a score in a PTHC race! Also a great final dash for ISA - Hexacta to secure another season, despite having slim scoring opportunities in the final races.
For us, top 5 seems almost safe now. 331 points to Gazelle should be enough - but I wouldn't be surprised to see them outscore us in Tasmania, despite us bringing a good lineup.
Moser will be difficult to keep behind though with just 112 points and them having Sagan in both Tasmania and Lombardia aswell as Prado who is a regular overachiever.
We need some great stage succes in Tasmania to keep 4th alive. With 445 points up to Puma we can forget all about looking up. Had the gap been 150-200 points we might have had a shot with a couple of very strong races.
Congrats roturn!
That's one of the most impressive performances of a team in serious relegation danger that I can remember, and from a rider you wouldn't expect such performances from to boot!
Of course on the other side of the duel, it hurts to likely lose ember for a season or two.
Assuming you have your talents well on their way to maxing out even with PCT experience next year, you'll be set up perfectly to bounce back soon!
Sucks that Festina couldn't get a lot out of this race as that gap is indeed too large to make the last couple of races exciting.
The end of another subpar season for us, again with a tough blow in the latter part of the year. It's becoming traditional. Another major rethink should follow in the off-season I guess.
Thanks for the report red, and thanks everyone else for making another so very sucessfull season see its completion!
