Help needed please.
I've placed the files in the PCM folder and opened the ini file in Notepad. However when I copy and paste the c: location, I am unable to save the ini file as it says the specifed path is incorrect.
Is there anything I am missing. I am sure the path name is correct. Many thanks. |

You don't need to do that, that was only so in the beta Version many Weeks ago.
Downlad the patch + all updates and do it like explained in the read me File. You don't need to rename anything |

VIZLEFX TOUR DE FRANCE
Here is a look at 1 of the new features of the Tour de France 2008 for PCM 2008. I have added many new scenes, objects and views that you will only discover when you download the Stages available from next week. This is a newly included feature. Festina Intermediate Timing. It will be seen in all TT during the Tour.

Whilst I continue to slowly work through and complete the Giro and Tour de France. 3 new team cars have been added to the list.
Astana, Tinkoff & CSF Navigare.
All vehicles have been reproduced according to the details on their sites and pictures available on the web. Astana - Volvo, Navigare - FORD and Tinkoff Mercedes. There have been some slight changes to the decals to accomodate the model and there were some quality issues. (fine lines)
As previously mentioned, there will be the Isolated Buildings version as well as a full working version included seperately with each major tour, You simply overwrite into the Director, or Help Car files in PCM2008 to have your team included.
Progress on all projects is slow. I must apologise for having to continue to push release dates back. It now looks like a small portion of my current projects should see the light of day in early September. I will keep you informed of any changes. I might consider portionate release of 10 stages at a time for both the Giro and the Tour. Once again stay tuned for more information on that.
I have also been working on a lot of new frames and rims. I hope to have them all posted by the first week of September. If you want further updates I am endeavouring to post details on my site in the "News" section every few days. I have had some issues with the Hosting Service Provider , so I have not been able to add the new member portion of the site. That will hopefully go through in the next week.
For your enjoyment here are a few images of what will appear in the 2008 Giro. Stay tuned for more images being posted prior to release.

Giro d'Italia 2008
Here is a sneak peak at the release coming next week. Everything has been added to make a true Tour experience.
All signage is correct. Finish and start lines have been reprogrammed to incorporate more accurate detail. In many cases aspects of game play have been reconfigured to ensure complete accuracy. New files have been included. New buses, team cars, spectators, new race features and objects have been added or updated to give the look and feel of the 2008 Giro d'Italia.

Spectators wear Tour souvenir t-shirts and sponsors advertising throughout the race.
Seasonal coloured trees and folage add to the overall look of each stage. Additions of snow in low lying areas in later stages ( images
will be added) Advertising boards stretch up to 2km from the finish line.
Remodelled finish lines as close to the actual race detail as possible. Additional media box, tents, seating, Giant screen, team vehicles. Additional features for TTT & ITT
Backstage - Tour vehicles , Media Centre, TV and tents
Remodelled Podium with TRENTODOC Champagne + All current Giro Signs and banners.
