No Accumalux riders in the break It may be February but thats no excuse for being lazy.
Good stage though, since Millar is still 2nd overall.

I am also disapointed that no Slipstreamers were in the break. However I suppose its our job to chase rather than attack with a guy on the overall podium and a fast sprinter.
WOO Zabriskie! Bring home the bacon for Team America

Well... Hushovd obviously the strongest here... He must have gotten a bit closer to the sprinters jersey, but still this isn't good enough... How close is he Crue? Close enough to take the jersey with a win on the last stage? |

It looks very nice for me. A quick calculation for me shows that I will move up to 2nd Overall PT... Unless I lose places in the GC in the final stage... |

2 Thor Hushovd FESTINA 51
3 Lorenzo Bernucci CARLSBERG 51
4 Assan Bazajev SONY ERICSSON 41
5 Bernhard Eisel CARLSBERG 37
6 David Millar ACCUMALUX - FORMEX 36 |

And it's 20 for the final sprint and a couple for the sprints underways right? So possible, but pretty much chanceless. |

3rd overall, 1 stage win 2 other podiums, 3rd in the team GC. Yet again another good PT race for Slipstream. Hopes for Promotion? Maybe

I'm amazed that Millar managed to take 43 ProTour points from this race.
It looks like Ill be leading the ProTour rankings after what should have been 3 of my weaker races. Brilliant!

Good race overall, getting 45pts, unless a 2nd place in the sprint contest gives anything. I doubt it...
My GC was Amazing, but Thor Hushovd was extremely poor in this race, that was a pityful performance. 2 3rd places and a 2nd place against some weak sprinters is not good enough. A single victory would have give then team an extra 8 pts or so with the stagewin + sprinters jersey, but 45pts should be enough to jump me into 2nd which is good considered I haven't hit the races I put decent riders into yet. Only Hushovd and Zubeldia has been in action, and I really doubt they will score big in the overall picture. |

i get that since we have moved slightly a head of the CT that langkawi will finish before any other race gets going, but i am just curious as to what the upcoming races would be. And i don't just mean PT, like are there any CT befor KBK.

Someone should take over Mapei from Kida and do his season planner. His team is way too good to relegate. On the other hand, I might survive |
