Well... I have the same problem. In my second season the game keeps crashing before the menu to simulate or make the race 3D. I tried to fix the database, I can race the next race but in the second day after that it keeps crashing before simulating or raci 3d.
Well, I downloaded it but can do no more than confirm that it crashes. Now, I don't have that variant of the Herald Sun Tour so the stages are just Plouay-Plouay for me which I guess rules out that the stage itself is the problem.
But I'm afraid I have no other ideas, I've never seen such a crash, and in the middle of February. Best I can offer is to take an old weekly save, maybe before the season starts (late December) or even going all the way back to mid October before the transfers. Don't worry about goals or anything, just simulate and see if you can get past the crash and if you do, start again with that weekly save.
Thanks a lot Ripley! I even tried in Lachis editing the faulty wheels and it goes past that day but it crashes in the next day. If I edit in lachis again it goes another day and crashes the next... I saw that there is a small database with these years teams... I will start another game with that database and hopefully it wont crashes in the second season. Thanks a lot Ripley! Really...
By the way... If you had to choose the best PCM in terms of minor bugs and problems which one would you choose?
I wouldn't know, I'm still on PCM 14 and only had PCM 09 and PCM 03 before. Afaik they all have their problems, just look through all the subforums. A new db might certainly help, I can report that I played many seasons in long careers and never had a game stopping crash.
