Who got DQed from the top 3?
That was Meersman's place.
Cheers, that explains it

Today John Degencolb (GIA) won and finally took the leader's jersey from Nacer Bouhanni (FDJ). With tomorrow a much more selecting course it seems very likely though he will only wear it for one day.

Tommorow we will have a first glimp on how the GC will look like. The opportunities are rare in this Paris-Nice so it's lilely we will see some action tomorrow. Who's going to take the yellow? |

Betvictor opening market prices were like that, now they fell down a lot.
That's the thing with betting on cycling, you have to be really fast when the markets open, as even one person having a fiver at 100/1 will reduce that a lot.

Ah I see. I know Thomas was 50/1 for the overall for a bit after the Porte switch announcement was made - might have been worth a few quid e/w at that price. |

Meersman won`t start today. Might be angry about his time loss. Not sure if he got injured as well?
Boeckmanns also abandons with a mild concussion.
He's injured (elbow and forearm I read), which is why he did not start, although I had the same idea as you when I read he didn't start.
In fact, his injury is quite terrible. He's broken four ribs and six of his vertebrae are bursted.
Seems like he had a real reason to quit the race |

I am probably very biased, but I think, that Å tybar can handle this hill very well.

I don't think Betancur knew what he wanted. Two times attacking and just waiting around then...

With these narrow roads, I get flashbacks of Slagter's nasty Giro crash few years ago. |

No teammates though for Degenkolb.
