*** clenches fist ***
Cancellara has had one of his best seasons I feel this year - his cobbled results were mixed but he did win a couple.
His time trialling though has been awesome - he has had Coppel's number most of the time and beating him and Phinney et al here was so sweet.
Bobridge deserves a mention as well - he has been a really useful loanee. He goes to Lombardy to beat the odds on his way to a top 20ish position. But as has been commented on in other threads he could be one of the stars of the Continental tour next year - he is a great all round rider.
cio is right - really Puma should have put the relegation dog fight to bed here. They didn't so off they go to Italy with an irate manager.
Levi - give em hell in the CTour - it should be noted that Vueling and now probably Bouygues look set for possible re-promotions.

Pozzato needs to have an amazing Lombardia, which won't happen because Pozzato. It's much the same team that got promoted last season, so I'm optimistic that we will be competitive.

Pozzato just told me, that he would love to go back to Festina on another one-year loan deal like last season. Any comments?

While Ulissi was heard to say, that competing for abmitious Metinvest project could be interesting for him.

I can confirm that Ulissi is considering his options, and that he is unlikely to stay in the Festina colors for the upcoming season.

Not the greatest TT for Coppel really. Probably had a really bad day form, it happens... Probably means I guaranteed that 4th overall place in PT, fantastic result.

Great racing and nice reporting on the final stage as well. A good race for us, unfortunately it won't be enough to keep hold of that 10th place, as 1t4i must have outscored us by a lot here, considering they've got four riders in the top 20. Congrats!
I only did the GC points for my top 4 riders and your top 3 and I scored ~60 points more than you.
Everything will be decided in Lombardia!
Hopefully Gesink, Vanendert and LLS will be a good match for EBH.

A little dismayed that Ponzi fell quite so far down the overall rankings, but to be expected I guess with his relatively poor TT skills. Close to remaining in the Top 3 Team GC wise, but 2nd in the KOM will have to do as a consolation.

Obviously couldn't have hoped for anything more than that.
Thanks Mattias, your run these last couple years has been as impressive as we've seen in the game. Even going into this race, I was truly afraid of Trofimov.
