I made Bob to be a main cobble free and domestique. I thought he would be able to be effective. Now I see a guy like Van der Valde (same role), and he is massively undermanned. Wish i gave him more stat boosts.

The New Zealand National Championships
The only guy we had entering was Mitch Thompson, who is a worse than average, when it goes against the clock. However in the RR we can maybe hope for something with his superior sprinting ability. Let's see what happens.
40 kilometers, flat all the way. This is really built for TT powerhouses...
Here is Mitch showing off our nice jersey designed by fcancellara. Unfortunately he suffered all the way the course and finished almost four minutes down on the winner.
Who was Jesse Sergent! The RadioShack rider really just flew through the whole course, as it would be nothing. His time is 57'09, which is almost one and a half minutes better, than the time of the 2nd placed Jack Bauer! Huge domination here...

The circa 180 km long course contains a short hill to give the riders some challenge. It'll be ridden over 11 times, so there is a chance for a late attack too, next to the obvious choices. A, mass sprint B, breakaway.
It was race was all about the B plan. The early two-men breakaway took control of the race, consistently gapping the peloton, while the bunch stood put. It got so ridiculous, that the whole peloton finished outside the time limit! Anyway, the race was won by Daniel Barry of Node 4 after outsprinting Raleigh's Tom Scully. Mitch completed the race inside the peloton.
