Stage 1
This is going to be tough one. I will try to get above finish line with first group. Also, today , i have freedom to do whatever i want, that means no Nibali covering or something. Yay ,freedom!
Stage profile didn't give us any time to rest before hard stage.
Almost at the same time when UCI's car set off, Rigoberto Uran (Sky) and Lieuwe Westra (Vacansoleil) , for some really strange reason , decided to set off, and try something from breakaway.

They fastly gained some seconds on group. Now it was definitely that this wasn't only fight for KoM jersey.
After peloton finished downhill, David Zabriskie (Garmin) attacked. What a strong breakaway it is going to be!

Gap was widening by every kilometer. Altough, riders in breakaway were really strong, and some of them were also stage favourites, peloton was calm and didn't panicked for a second.
We had Huffman and Ponzi chasing at the front,.

Little surprise was when peloton caught early breakway so fastly.
On 4th hill,there were 1 main group and grupetto's behind. I was there,also.
Nothing happened and we finally came to last 3 laps at last 3 hills.
I saw my chance there so i decided to set off, for a first time this year.

But,peloton, with RadioShack at the front, caught me easily. Now , i will focus on Nibali and his chances.

Somehow, both , Sagan and Boonen managed to stay in first group and when it came to final sprint,it was clearly that they're going to choose winner.
Boonen was just better today, and he took win!

Few meters behind,i was struggling to stay with that group, but at the end, i did it!

| Rank | Name | Team | Time | | 1 | Tom Boonen | Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team | 4h29'24 | | 2 | Peter Sagan | Cannondale Pro Cycling | s.t. | | 3 | Sandy Casar | FDJ | s.t. | | 4 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Sky Procycling | s.t. | | 5 | Laurens Ten Dam | Blanco Pro Cycling Team | s.t. | | 6 | Ion Izagirre | Euskaltel - Euskadi | s.t. | | 7 | Greg Van Avermaet | BMC Racing Team | s.t. | | 8 | Rinaldo Nocentini | AG2R La Mondiale | s.t. | | 9 | Dries Devenyns | Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team | s.t. | | 10 | Fabian Cancellara | RadioShack - Leopard | s.t. | | ... | | 14 | Tanel Kangert | Astana Pro Team | s.t. |
Well, great achievement for me and a team. Even 4 riders were up-there but none of us in top10, Nibali , Gavazzi , Tiralongo and Me, finished from 11th - 15th place. Anyway, great stage for me. I am totally satisfied!
See ya soon!
Sincerely, Tanel.

Stage 2
This should be stage for sprinters, nothing to search for there, for me.
Quite boring stage,great weather.
Breakaway was created pretty late, after 30kms.
Riders in it was: Da Dalto (Cannondale) , De Kort (Argos) , Rosseler (Garmin) , Guttierez (Movistar) and Van Winden (Blanco).

Fights for KoM and Intermediate sprints were boring, too. Nothing to show there really.
After whole day of chasing in front of peloton, breakaway gave up at 10kms until the finish.
All the favourites are now in first group, including Boonen,Sagan, Guardini...
Trains are created and fun can start. Really bad position that was for Guardini but Ponzi and Gavazzi did great positioning behind Swift and Boonen.
At the end, Peter Sagan took win in front of Boonen and Goss.
Right behind Matthew, Ponzi and Gavazzi finished as 4th and 6th.

Great stage for Astana sprinters!
| Rank | Name | Team | Time | | 1 | Peter Sagan | Cannondale Pro Cycling | 4h20'02 | | 2 | Tom Boonen | Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team | s.t. | | 3 | Matthew Goss | Orica - GreenEdge | s.t. | | 4 | Francesco Gavazzi | Astana Pro Team | s.t. | | 5 | Taylor Phinney | BMC Racing Team | s.t. | | 6 | Simone Ponzi | Astana Pro Team | s.t. | | 7 | Daniele Bennati | Team Saxo - Tinkoff | s.t. | | 8 | Tyler Farrar | Garmin - Sharp | s.t. | | 9 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Sky Procycling | s.t. | | 10 | Greg Van Avermaet | BMC Racing Team | s.t. | | ... | | 60 | Tanel Kangert | Astana Pro Team | s.t. |
Great day for guys. I kept pace with first group and that is reason to be happy. If i keep up like this,i can really do something on last Time Trial, but it is just too early to speak about that now.
See ya soon!
Sincerely, Tanel.

NNTRASH - I am just waiting and hoping that i'll keep in half minute before time trial! Thanks for following
krisa - 3,why? Is that problem? I am member since 2010 so i can't see one.
sutty68 - That should be good! Being quiet at these races, almost every time means something big at Grand Tours.
I am going to report next stage(s) now.
Sincerely , Tanel.

Stage 3
Might end up in mass sprint or win from attack. I can't see my chances here today. But, we'll see.
First a bit serious profile for this year. We will have it twice again,so, this is just small preparation for 5th and 6th stage.
*Huge* 13 riders group created at the front.
Names are: Lindeman (Vacansoleil) , Vaitkus (Orica) , Porsev (Katusha) , Bilbao (Euskaltel) , Pansien (Argos) , Vigano (Lampre) , Wynants (Blanco) , Van den Broeck (Lotto) , Lund (Saxo) , Ponzi (Astana) , Delage (FDJ) , Garzelli (Vini) , De Marchi (Cannondale).

As you can see from above,no Sky, BMC and Movistar riders in-front of there,so guys behind was a bit confused , to chase or not. Anyway, after constantly being on 2 minutes, they let them go and reach 6 min's.
Kilometer by kilometer, gap was bigger and it was pretty clear that group is going to choose winner by themselfes.
Meanwhile , only 3 of us from Astana managed to stay in front group. Me, Paolo and Vincenzo. I was free man there.

Pace was really high and i decided to start short attack , with Vincenzo right before downhill, knowing his downhill abilities.

But that was caught pretty fast and we didn't lose much energy.
At the same time, few mintues in front of us,small group, with Ponzi, Wynants, Lund and Garzelli attacked in that moment E2 group and they were getting seconds fastly. So,winner is between these guys.

And,after really hard fight, Ponzi won this! What an amazing day for us.

Half minute after that, peloton, containing all the favourites, came to the finish. I was one of them, again, not at right top,but always there. Great that i didn't lose any time.

Now , let's bring on results and check what we've got there.
| Rank | Name | Team | Time | | 1 | Simone Ponzi | Astana Pro Team | 5h29'13 | | 2 | Maarten Wynants | Blanco Pro Cycling Team | + 13 | | 3 | Stefano Garzelli | Vini Fantini - Selle Italia | + 23 | | 4 | Rinaldo Nocentini | AG2R La Mondiale | s.t. | | 5 | Sandy Casar | FDJ | + 37 | | 6 | Ion Izagirre | Euskaltel - Euskadi | + 54 | | 7 | JoaquÃm RodrÃguez | Katusha Team | s.t. | | 8 | Peter Sagan | Cannondale Pro Cycling | s.t. | | 9 | Fabian Cancellara | RadioShack - Leopard | s.t. | | 10 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Sky Procycling | s.t. | | ... | | 21 | Tanel Kangert | Astana Pro Team | s.t. |
| Rank | Name | Team | Time | | 1 | Rinaldo Nocentini | AG2R La Mondiale | 14h19'02 | | 2 | Sandy Casar | FDJ | + 14 | | 3 | Peter Sagan | Cannondale Pro Cycling | + 21 | | 4 | Tom Boonen | Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team | + 25 | | 5 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Sky Procycling | + 31 | | 6 | Fabian Cancellara | RadioShack - Leopard | s.t. | | 7 | Greg Van Avermaet | BMC Racing Team | s.t. | | 8 | Ion Izagirre | Euskaltel - Euskadi | s.t. | | 9 | Giovanni Visconti | Movistar Team | s.t. | | 10 | Moreno Moser | Cannondale Pro Cycling | s.t. | | ... | | 13 | Vincenzo Nibali | Astana Pro Team | s.t. | | 14 | Tanel Kangert | Astana Pro Team | s.t. | | 15 | Paolo Tiralongo | Astana Pro Team | s.t. |
Well,i could do better with final position at the end, since i had left energy, but it's okay. Still,we're doing pretty good, but Nibali have to move in next days if he thinks to win. Everything is still on team managers.
I decided not to attack if i keep this tempo. My TT abilities and my form gives me chance for top5!
See ya soon!
Sincerely , Tanel.

Both - Yeah,we are leading Teams classifications. Seems everything is under control. Our only threath is Cancellara ,since he has same time as Vincenzo. But we hope Nibali will gain some time in mountain/hills. I am going to try to get stage win,or at least to stay in same rank as main guys, and, with some luck,to beat them in TT.
Thanks for following, this got so many views and comments so fast. It is always great to see that
