Possible, then apologies, though I don't like/understand it either way. It's not like they need Cav to be more distinguishable from the rest for the sprint train...

Not making me like him any more, though liking him even less gets difficult now as he's closely approaching the bottom border.
Exactly what I thought |

How exactly did Cav "rob" Tony Martin?
By overtaking him in the last metres not leading to any time gain for the fifth rider.
And who says that wasn't the plan? Teams often decides who crosses the finishline first in TTTs beforehand.
That's pretty much given, the team director does decide stuff like that many times and I am sure the decision came from him beforehand, rather than just Cav being selfish and talking it in last meter.
Gasparotto did steal the pink jersey once from Di Luca in 2007. But think that Omega Pharma made the agreement who went first over the line beforehand.
Plus: they should have given the jersey to Martin Velits or Van Keirsbulck. Martin and Cavendish get enough chances to wear leader's jerseys/ win races.

Didn't Velits and Van Keirsbulck drop out before the finish? Should've given it to Stybar, then |

Didn't see the race. Would be a nice gesture giving the leader's jersey to a reliable teammate!

It's perfectly normal for the best sprinter to take the final pull with everyone in their slipstream. He was probably just a bit late. As for Stybar being a domestique I'm quite sure he'll be a star in a couple of years.

Remember that they are going for the fastest time! Whoever is the fastest finisher will end the TTT- happened at HTC too in TTTs in the vuelta + tour. |

And we now know it fully
"It was planned I'd cross the line first but in hindsight it would have been better to let Tony cross the line first because he did about half of it on his own. "I hope he gets the jersey later this week," Cavendish revealed in the post-race press conference.

Fact of the day #1 : Peter Sagan has not won a race or stage today
Fact of the day #2 : Andy Schleck has not abandoned a race today
I wonder how many days in a row I'll be able to copy-paste those lines. |

Nice to read that from you, that is what i am dreaming about, but so far silently, not saying it anywhere.
I wonder if he should build his career towards northern classics (when he is not Hushovd,Boonen like figure), or rather short hilly stage-races, where he is doing best so far, or even GTs? (he did great this year in Oman mountain stage surprisingly for me, but i wonder if he can find the endurance, coming from hour long cross efforts).
Expected win from OPQS and a bit disappointing Saxo...

I think that chances you being able to copy that till the end of Tirreno are very slim.
Edit: Btw. Sagan is still a bit ill according to his words, but it goes beter and better every day. He says also, that today it can be very dangerous, with rain forecasted. Hopefully we will not see many falls.
Today should be another chapter of Greipel x Cavendish, cant see anyone coming over them probably.

Not many for sure. I don't know which one will be the "breaker", but I i'll bet on Sagan. |

20k to go. Vanmarcke with an attempt but most, most probably a mass sprint. |

Thanks
I can opt to leave an hour later, though I'd need to find something to do for 55 minutes then

I like Greipel and I have a bet on Cav.
If one of them wins I'll be happy. |
