Do they make the stats based on lat season? Or this season as well? I'm norwegian and hope edvald went up after last TDF with 2 wins and Hushovd with 6or 7 days in yellow yersey and 2 wins as well. But he have been terrible this season... Do you think he will be good or bad?
God knows from which thoughts they make it, but it is quite off the reality in majority of riders, but EBH should be good, because he was great at Tour and that is probably their major source for guessing the stats.
But you could wait for Alakagom to serve us better stats together with other Daily DB makers.

Not pointless imo, shows apparently a new isolated building (some sort of stone gate) which looks pretty cool. And if you follow the same logic, 99% of the screens (which again, I think it's Focus who does, not Cyanide) are pointless.

It looks exactly like PCM 2011
I'm curious about manager mode.
The season planner looked nice, already!
Also curious about the stats!
Stats are the last thing to worry about, they are doomly screwed every year and need to be redone with real-name database. Unless you want to play with AG2R or FDJ, they are overated obviously
I don't know, I think there are far worse things about PCM than the stats
I don't know for the "lesser" riders, but the top riders are rated quite good, imo.
When the real-name database is released, are stats also redone, or is there an update for that later on?

Yea I agree. Shows some nice graphical improvements, hopefully they added more such things to make the game more nicer.

Stats are converted together with the riders. For example, for the PCMDaily DB on PCM12, we won't go rider by rider correcting their names - we'll copy and paste the current list of rider names, stats, and other things which are "compatible" between the PCM11 .cdb file and the PCM12 .cdb file.

So that means it'll be downloadable pretty soon after release?
I'm glad to hear that (I'm also glad that's possible, otherwise you'd have one hell of a job!)
Though won't it take longer now since there are new teams and riders (from continental)? |

No, it won't be downloadable pretty soon after the release because making the PCM12 DB isn't only about converting the cyclists and their stats. There's also the whole rest of the DB (although only some tables need to be converted), and everything else (graphics, stages which apparently will need to be re-exported with the new stage editor again, etc). However if someone decided to convert the cyclists/stats, it wouldn't probably take too long.

It's a lot more than I thought, I'm quite a DB noob, excuse me for that.
My respect for you only grows! Thanks for doing all that! |

No problem, but I'm not the only one behind it There's a team behind the DB, and yes, the effort isn't easy but it's worth it
Btw, actually meant PCM12 DB not 2012 DB (2012 DB is already done lol)

I've got to give it to pcm (in general, not only based on this), they have some nice graphics, those muscles look really life-like, if you know what I mean. |

Looks like the same old animation. But this makes me hope that real injuries and withdrawals will return. (yes I know that there are still invisible injuries...)

Well all that tells us is that we still have riders riding over people on the ground. Great.
