Never thought it was possible to win this race but Freire did a brilliant job Smile My team is doing much better as I expected.

By my count, that's around 200 pts out of this race and given how the TT went for Koren I suppose this outcome was the best I could hope for. Better yet I had a goal for a top 5 herePfft

This race was really chaotic. I'm just glad I didn't take LLS here, it would have probably been a waste of his race days. Anyway despite not fulfilling expectations Nicácio did good in the TT, and his 14th placement is something not that disappointing.

I reckon Bayern Rundfahrt was a shock for a reasonable amount of teams, especially the german ones, so I believe Cerne wasn't the one suffering the most damage here.

Also congrats to Koppert. BoogieBoogie must be thrilled with such an unexpected victory from the most unexpected rider!

Thanks for the reports SN.

I'm still disappointed that Elijzen couldn't manage any better. Stallaert's podium was helpful for ensuring some points though.

Well, a somewhat ambivalent race for us.

Beforehand, I wouldn't have been happy with 15th in the GC, but the stage win, 3rd in points classification and 2nd best young rider still gives me a good amount of points to not consider this race a complete fail.
