I guess Navarro, or whoever the last Saxo was, was done - so Contador's best way of closing the gap is it to attack across. The descent means it wont come to anything, but already a very small group

What were Rodriguez and Arroyo thinking? Absolutely nothing to gain from attacking that far out. Still, it has made things really heat up from 50km out and I hope that continues - it will certainly make the ending a matter of endurance.
