Another season goal fail. But great Wyss managed the 5th in GC and Van Heerden took the KoM jersey...
it's quite hard for a new team to pick up the best season goals because you don't know with what kind of riders you will end up with (still i got 3/5 last year )
Next year it should be easier for you to pick the goals that suit your team the most.
You´re right, maybe I should be happy with atleast managed 1/5 goals. But I´m still 3rd from the wrong direction in the table...
I guess I am satisfied with 2nd overall, and 1st in the points, coupled with a stage win and 2nd in the youth category, it should bring in a few points for the team. Not as many as I "need", but since when does that ever happen for any other team but Ikea?
rjc: Not sure much more could have been expected from this race with Rowe, it was not one of Wiggles strongest squads. Unfortunately I cannot see how Wiggle can come back against Ikea at the moment. By my calculations they are still about 600 points back and once the Tour of Britain is done the race days will be equal.
Of course Wiggle have strong squads at Missouri and Britian more than capable of picking up stage wins and great GC placings. But I cannot imagine Larsson being too far away in Missouri either.
Still I am sure Wiggle will be in the Protour next year and judging by their results in wold cards we could see another Sony Ericsson (or at the very least an Auber!)
Decent points again for Wiggle, as 100% Me win move up into 3rd. Bacardi climb to 5th, with Pendleton's 8th. Santander lose 4 places to 9th. Meanwhile in the battle at the bottom, BBox overtake HighRoad.

No huge effect on the top of the standings, but there are sprinters moving up. Rowe to 30th, Casper to 31st, Goss to 47th, Swift to 48th.

Well then, I guess I need to firmly beat the shit outta Ikea at Missouri, and do very very well in the ToB, like last season, though this I doubt again! Even so, I admit, coming 1st is a far off dream after some astonishingly freaky performances from Ikea. Having said that, I've still got my strongest squads in races to come, but if Ikea don't, maybe my race days will provide more points? Who knows!
