Guys here is my schedule for this next week:
Monday: Stages 7 and 8 (up to Terminillo)
Looking forward to this a lot. Exciting to see whether Cunego is injured or not. Could be a thriller if he was a little bit injured which would cost him 3mins or so on the Zoncolan only to be fit for the rest of the Giro...

Dominant win by Festina. SotD will be happy.
And I'm happy that Devolder is still up there. Still looking good. |

I sure will. After some horrible stage results this is fantastic. Ulissi was brought for this exact purpose, and seeing both Castaño and Ardila doing well is fantastic. I'm very happy about this result, which easily makes up the dissapointing sprint stages.

Amazing performance from Keinath as I continue gathering a bit unexpected points here. It's gonna be real interestin seein what he is capable of on the terminillo stage.

X2. Could be rather impressive if he can keep the jersey.

If Cunego's not severely injured, he may be able to avoid losing time before the next mountain stage - but I hope he's done.
Sella will be hard to do anything against, I guess, but I never counted Devolder in for the overall win. So overall, it's still looking very, very good.
Also, Gerdemann did well.
Can't complain so far. |

OMG this is amazing! Castaño riding so damn well here getting 2nd. Two very strong stages for my team. Also getting the mountains jersey to collect, some vital points. Even Ardila doing very well.
I'm extremely happy with todays results.

Cataldo looks set to perform to expectations. I am very happy if he does. Hopefully next season (should there be a TTT) I might have a little more support for him so he doesn't lose 3 minutes from the get-go.

Fabio Duarte put in a decent ride for Colombia. Bosisio an average one.
Cunego will recover I think and if he does the other GC contenders need to distance him more. |

Lavoine doing slightly better. I reckon I should've taken him out though to go for Sonnery. I think the race suits him more.
So far a good Giro, despite not being able to put in a decent effort on the flat stages yet.

Not the greatest first mountain stage for Intxausti, but up in 4th in GC is good. Young riders jersey already, and I would expect on paper that Intxausti will end up doing better than Castano and Devolder above him.

For sure. Castaño will be 8th or so if I'm VERY lucky... He will easily be overtaken by:
Stijn Devolder
Beñat Intxausti
Domenico Pozzovivo
Vincenzo Nibali
and of course Cunego if he isn't injured.
And that is in best case. He will probably end up behind Marzano, Henao Montoya and perhaps Rujano aswell...

Sprints going bad, but Marzano is at least in the top 10 GC.

The wildcard sprinters are certainly taking advantage of the big ProTour sprinters being elsewhere, should have given 100% Me a wildcard here
Very impressive by Rowe

Seems my sprinters are sprinting for themselves. I have the undisputably strongest train (I think), but the sprinters might be too strong. Too many individualists.
4th is good from Ulissi though, who is also my best bid at a sprint jersey, as he should be able to place himself well in the hilly stages also... Hopefully a top 5 sprint jersey for him (Unless it will be the mountain finishers)

I dont think too strong is a particularly applicable term for the likes of Lavoine

Arrrggggggghhhhhh.....I hate Wiggle.
In truth Gatto is doing much better than I was expecting.
Enjoying the Giro in that Vespa are certainly making themselves visible. Had riders in the break just about every day. |
