Heine: It really wasn't a great race for Telenor at all, then again the team sent was not quite good enough, I suppose.
Dumoilen and Van Hummel were really podium candidates so they did well to give their team some cheer on the last stage.
But Bettini, great stuff from the veteren Italian I would be surprised the breakaway didn't make it with the gap they had but it was Lefevre I bet he had empty bars! |

no stage win, but good performances of Dumoulin, Wallays, Guillen brought some vital points to my team
I think I can“t be disappointed at all

Bettini. I'm very pleased - totally unlooked for win.
Proni was the one I thought was here for the GC. I guess with Bettini up there after the flat stage, he rode for him.

Did a couple of sums, here is approximate scores from this race...
1) Wiggle 251
2) Mercedes 201
3) Vespa 171
4) Falcon 142
5) El Al 129
6) Intesa 127
7) Pokerstars 119
8) Telenor 53
9) Cillit Bang 49
10) Tinkoff 37
Approximate team leaderboard top 5 anyways is as follows:
1) Ikea (about 1950)
2) Wiggle (about 1800)
3) UBS (about 1750)
4) Petronas (about 1650)
5) Mercedes (about 1450)
I believe Pokerstars are about 10th on around 1200 points. |

Ooo, back near the top again now I'm racing once more then
Quite a surprising race, though I think if I'd brought Ponzi here (gosh darn his race days) I might have picked up a couple more points than he got in that other race he did instead. But, can't complain about Pavarin's performance, what a star. Plus, he's not yet maxed! Amazing.
