That was actually hard to watch. All race personnel should be trained in how to deal with a situation like this. He should have been taken to the side of the road and been made to wait for the medical team. At least this can serve as a good example in the future as to why such training would be necessary.

Sagan wins another one in Cali, but indeed it was a strong finish by Zabel who was meant to be a lead-out. |

Yep, perfect setup, i love that team.
And that is even when one of their top leaders, Leopold König went completely AWOL this year again. He started one race in late January and DNF, since then, he is doing...i dont know, what he is doing, anybody knows what is going on? I know just that he has some health issues (knee?), but this is really strange and even a bit suspicious.
Edit: I checked his Facebook and it seems that he is at least training with team again and visited them during Giro. So i wonder if he returns to racing soon and what he will target. Tour to help Majka and Vuelta as leader?

Great win by Talansky in Cali!
You could tell he was the best on the climb but just doesn't have the kick to make that pivotal acceleration, but he still managed to take the win in the end. Really nice to see considering Tejay is literally dead and the other Americans have been disappointing too recently.
Not in the ideal place for GC because of the split from a few stages ago, but he's a good TTst and is in good form so we'll see.

I'll admit I thought Bora would struggle a bit outside of Sagan having invested so much in him but they are looking like a well drilled team with some promising riders getting results outside of Sagan and Majka.

I think anything can happen between top5-6 guy now in Cali. Bookwalter is best TT rider by far, but can he catch Majka and Bennet on 25kms long course? And what Boswell will do, he sucks in TTs right?

Indeed, was stunned by it. He said he'd lose at least 90 seconds to Talansky, so keeping it within 2 seems like a good deal

(A bit too?) great sportsmanship shown in Tour of Norway today. Boasson Hagen crashing in the second final downhill, his main rival in the race Gerrans stopping the peloton to wait for him. Into the last lap now. A big sign that it is Edvald's race here. |

Gilbert saves the honour of the road cyclists in Tour of Belgium today:
1 - van der Poel
2 - Gilbert
3 - Van Aert
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
