Not a big fan of Ritchey, I've heard of a lot of problems with their products. |

Never! It's sunny today, above freezing, so couldn't be happier!

Smoothie, what about zone 3? Like 8-30 minutes?
Today I had:
10 min warm-up
5x5 min i4, 2 minutes off
then 2x8 minutes i3/i4, 2 mins sitting, 2 mins standing 2 mins sitting and like that
Thats the type of session i do on the track. Cant really do standing efforts on the turbo, it doesnt do anything apart from confuse your body, and give its a strange center of gravity. |

Tubulars are the ones you glue on...

ok, another question:
Does Shimano 8 and 9 speed fit with Shimano 10 speed wheels? Read that on one wheelset, but I'm not sure.... |

Clincher wheels are for tyres that have a wire running through them so they grip on when inflated. The rims are normally Aluminum and have side walls. You can buy, Tub/Clinchers, which are a tub but with the clincer part still attached.
Tubular are similar, they have an inner tube inside the Tyre but a nylon or Kevlar strip is sown together at the bottom of the tube so its a round Tyre all the way around. You tend you either glue these on, or add Rim Tape and then put them on. I always use glue, continental is probably the best.
Im not sure about 8-9speed cassetes fitting on a 10speed free hub. I think you can put Sram on any wheel. so if you wanted a 9 speed try a Sram cassette. I would always read the instructions and talk to your local bike store about it to be 100% sure. |

Managed to get out on the road for the first time this year yesterday. Looking forwadr to getting out for about 4/5 hours this morning and the frost was back. Couldn't stomach another session on the turbo so took a day off. Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow. |

Have you ever wondered what it is like to ride in Northern California in Mid January...
WARNING: Looking at the following pictures may cause severe cases of depression.

The weather on some of the days in last year's ToC was pretty bad.
You'll get yours soon enough, Levi. |
