Just to clarify, if a podium was attained with a real rider, he gains absolutely nothing from it and the possible reward is transferred to a custom rider, no matter how much he failed in the race? And is it a custom rider of the manager, or a custom rider that belongs to the team that gains the update?

6-8 for everything except Giro which is compulsory 9, I think. Not too sure though.

Well it depends. Some inactive managers will probably slow it down and then reporters have to get and make the startlists, race the races and so on, so it would be very good imo to get started by next Saturday.
