So basically all to play for for the podium and Nibali should have first sewn up. Great way to win it if so, especially given he was on the brink yesterday. |

Fucking retarded Acquarone says today's stage was a mistake.
Now I'd post a facepalm image, but I don't think there's any who makes justice to such idiotic comment.

Best 1 Week Race by far this Year. I think we will have to wait till Giro to have a race that can top this one. Volta Ciclista a Catalunya and Vuelta Ciclista al Pais Vasco have allways such a bad TV coverage, that u cant really enjoy them. |

Great ride by Nibali! Showing Froome how cycling really should be ridden!

Nibali is quite a good time trialist, he should be able to keep the lead!

No-one has accused Nibali of doping... must change that
Nibali clearly using "special methods" today, its a disgrace to the sport!
Also Sagan looking rather strong... stronger than he should be... hmmm

Seems like it has been an epic stage, pity I couldn't watch the important part... How do you estimate Rodriguez for tomorrow? Do you think he can hold Contador off?

He's been linked to Ferrari before so...
The difference is that after him doesn't come a wave of fanboys claiming he's the 2nd come of Jesus and that he's all clean and will save cycling from cheating latinos.
Oh, and there's the fact that he has always shown talent, unlike others. Pretty irrelevant maybe.

No way. I wouldn't say he's safe from Kwiatek either.

Doubt it
11 seconds against Contador isn't much in a TT that suits him this well. I can see also Kwiatkowski overtaking him if he manages to recover from today

Great ride by Nibali today. Wish we had seen more of what happened there though, I don't think Froome could have lost that much time on the decent so I think he must have already had problems on the insane hill.
That decent was awesome though and once he formed up with Sagan and Purito no-one was stopping them. Froome might be a good TTer but he isn't good enough to make up that gap unless Nibbles falls off. If he stays upright his nailed on now.
Just gotta hope Purito TTs well enough tomo to keep Contador at bay! |

I'm in big trouble being a Spaniard myself.
Latino makes reference to the South European countries of latin roots btw. Like, you know, Spain.

Sounds like it was one hell of a stage.
It does show that you really don't need a massive mountain to create gaps in stage races. Clearly race organisors refrain from having too many stage with cobblestones but it would be nice to see these types of stages in grand tours more often. I have my doubts though that we will see this occur often at the Tour or the Vuelta, but it shows perhaps Nibali can really take the Giro (cannot recall though too many like this in the Giro this year either).
Nibali - what can you say, he really is a superb bike handler and very strong rider. It was a good racing situation with him Sagan and Rodriguez up front and they really did a great job.
Very nice to see Samu having a decent day today as well, I was beginning to think old father time may have caught up with him (Yes I know Horner but that guy seems peter pan like).
I wonder about MSR whether an effort like today will take something out of the riders?

Well the stage looked epic. Too bad the recording I made on my TV ended 10km before the finish.

Yeah, Latino only describes people with origins in Rome.
On topic, my internet was too bad to watch the final kms, but i can't wait to see the replay on youtube.
