Alright, round 2 tested our contestants whether they know about cars - here're the results
1. Name a car brand outside of Europe and the United States
There was a clear winner in this case - Toyota. However they were one vote short of unanimous choice as we have 1 point for Bolwell - an exotic sportscar brand from Australia
Spoiler
Toyota - 11
Bolwell - 1
2. Name a car brand from the newly formed Stellantis group
Well, Stellantis does have a plethora of car brands, but the most common answer was Fiat with 4, followed by Peugeot with 3, Chrysler with 2 and 1 each for Alfa Romeo, Citroën and Jeep
Spoiler
Fiat - 4
Peugeot - 3
Chrysler - 2
Alfa Romeo - 1
Citroën - 1
Jeep - 1
3. Name a car model name (including former) used by Ford
It was really contested race between the Mustang and Model T, but in the end Ford's muscle car crossed the line first with 4 points, 1 more than the model that started it all. 2 points each get the modern day bestsellers Focus and Fiesta, which the iconic Escort sadly gets one point.
Spoiler
Mustang - 4
Model T - 3
Focus - 2
Fiesta - 2
Escort - 1
4. Name a car brand that was/is associated with rallying
In the next special stage we had 5 brands lined up, but with 4 points Lancia came on top, followed by Subaru with 3, Ford and Citroën with 2 and Mitsubishi with just 1 point
5. Name a car brand that is considered a low cost/budget brand
We have a really diverse picks here, but 3 points go to Kia. Nissan and Dacia get 2 points, while othere were other brands that only give 1 point
cunego59 is the winner of Round 2 with 26 points. The battle for 2nd though was tight with the gap between kandesbunzler26 and df_Trek is just 6 points. Sadly jseadog1 gets only 9 points.

Round 3 will test our contestants on their knowledge about...the Summer Olympics
I'm with stupid 2021 - Game 7, Round 3
Theme: Summer Olympics
1. Name a city that has hosted (or is scheduled to host) the Olympics more than once
2. Name a year where the Summer Olympics were held outside Europe (excluding this year)
3. Name a famous Summer Olympian
4. Name a sport that is part of the current Olympic programme
5. Name a country that is considered a powerhouse in team sports at the Summer Olympics
The dealine is this time Sunday, 8 August (or, again, when I receive PM's from all contestants)
The Olympics are ending today and here on IWS we've tested the Olympic knowledge of our contestants. On the closing day of Tokyo 2020 we'll see who will win the gold in this round.
1. Name a city that has hosted (or is scheduled to host) the Olympics more than once
The current host - Tokyo, got 5 guesses in this round. 3 points go to Paris, 2 each to Athens and Los Angeles while one lowly point goes to London
Spoiler
Tokyo - 5
Paris - 3
Athens - 2
Los Angeles - 2
London - 1
2. Name a year where the Summer Olympics were held outside Europe (excluding this year)
Perhaps, I should've excluded 2016 as well since it gives the monstorous 12 points. And yet, it wasn't unanimous choice as one lowly point goes to the one who gave 2000 instead
Spoiler
2016 - 12
2000 - 1
3. Name a famous Summer Olympian
Only two names were featured in this round - Usain Bolt and Michael Phelps. In the end, the most decorated swimmer of all time prevailed over the 100m world record holder 8:5
Spoiler
Michael Phelps - 8
Usain Bolt - 5
4. Name a sport that is part of the current Olympic programme
It'd be silly if in a forum centered around a cycling management game to not have cycling as the most guessed sport in this round. Cycling got 9 guesses. Swimming gives 3 points while the athletics gives only 1 point
5. Name a country that is considered a powerhouse in team sports at the Summer Olympics
And the final question in this Olympic round tested our contestants on which nations are known to excel in team sports. The United States gives the most points with 8. 2 points go to Germany, while 1 each go to Japan, France and Russia
Spoiler
United States - 8
Germany - 2
Japan - 1
France - 1
Russia - 1

Cunego59's poor Round 3 was a good thing for roturn who takes the lead with 81 points, but 1 point behind is AbhishekLFC. Our former points leader fell down to 7th with 71 points, but still in a range of the leader.

I'm with stupid 2021 - Game 7, Round 4
Theme: Geography and History
1. Name a country that is NOT part of the European Union (excluding the UK and Russia)
2. Name a capital city of a former Eastern Bloc country
3. Name a US State
4. Name a country that was once a monarchy, but is now a republic
5. Name a country, situated on the both sides of the equator
The dealine is this time Sunday, 15 August (or, again, when I receive PM's from all contestants)
Well, we now have the results of our mixed Geopolitical/history based round
1. Name a country that is NOT part of the European Union (excluding the UK and Russia)
Perhaps I should've limited it to just European countries since the United States got the most points there with 9 points. In fact Switzerland is the only European country out of the bunch with 4 points with 1 person each said Trinidad and Tobago and Brazil
Spoiler
United States - 9
Switzerland - 4
Trinidad and Tobago - 2
Brazil - 1
2. Name a capital city of a former Eastern Bloc country
The Cold War may be long gone, but we've tested our contestants of capital cities east of the former Iron Curtain. Obviously the capital of the USSR and now Russia - Moscow, got the most guesses with 8. East Berlin got 4 points, 2 points go to Warsaw and 1 single point goes to the one who guessed Budapest
Spoiler
Moscow - 8
East Berlin - 4
Warsaw - 2
Bundapest - 1
3. Name a US State
There are 50 states within the US of A, so plenty of choices there. California was the most guessed state with 8, followed by New York with 4, Texas with 2 and Hawaii with 1
Spoiler
California - 8
New York - 4
Texas - 2
Hawaii - 1
4. Name a country that was once a monarchy, but is now a republic
Once they had kings and queens, but now they have democratically elected heads of state. Everyone has heard of the many times the French switched between monarchy and republic and they give 11 points. Russia was the only country with more than 1 point - 2 to be precise, while Egypt and Germany give 1 point each
Spoiler
France - 11
Russia - 2
Germany - 1
Egypt - 1
5. Name a country, situated on the both sides of the equator
There are some countries that are placed on both sides on the equator. And the winner is Brazil with 11 points. Ecuador gets 2 points, while Indonesia and France (the island if Reunion is part of the overseas department and is part of the French Republic, so it counts) get 1 point each
Spoiler
Brazil - 11
Ecuador - 2
Indonesia - 1
France - 1

Heading into the final round of Game 7 it is kandesbunzler26 who leads, but the battle for the win is wide open - roturn and jandal7 are trailing by 3 points, while cunego59's comeback propelled him to 4th only 1 point behind roturn/jandal7. Even contestants such as df_Trek, AbhishekLFC and FreitasPCM have their chances.
I'm with stupid 2021 - Game 7, Round 5
The final round will again have some geographic flavor, but this time is landmarks - natural and man-made.
I'm with stupid 2021 - Game 7, Round 5
Theme: Landmarks
1. Outside the Great Pyramids of Giza, name one of the remaining 6 wonders of the aincent world
2. Name a natural landmark (i.e. not man-made)
3. Name a famous landmark in Europe
4. Name a famous skyscraper
5. Name a country, which has a UNESCO World Heritage site
The dealine is this time Sunday, 22 August (or, again, when I receive PM's from all contestants)
So I missed the perfect round due to not having Brazil? There were plenty of possible countries but I had expected the basically named equatorial country Ecuador would be the easy choice.
What a horrific round R3 was for me indeed. Cycling was obviously my bad, but I was surprised that the US would be considered a powerhouse for team sports, at least by such a margin.
But I was confident in this round and deservedly so. Good to still have a shot at victory. Interesting final set of questions, let's see how it goes.
Should have known that the Q1 answer wouldn’t have been European but I didn’t even consider not going for a European country
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant." [PT] Xero Racing
